Dwemer in Cyrodiil?[edit]

The Orrery may have been built by Imperials from imported materials, but were there Dwemer in Cyrodiil at all? Why include their armour into the game, if they weren't historically associated with the province, and thus their armour should not have been as widely available as it is in-game. Yes, yes, it's a question aimed mainly at Bethesday (Zenimax?), but still. Were there Dwemer in Cyrodiil? The posted map of Tamriel on the page shows that at best, there were some close ruins in the Jarral Mountains, but those count as Skyrim.--87.255.89.160 04:10, 18 December 2019 (GMT)

Dwarven equipment dates back to TES Arena, where it was available throughout all Tamriel, and where there was little concept of who the Dwarves were and what their range was. As far as the current lore suggests, the Dwemer had little or no presence in Cyrodiil, but Dwarven objects have been widely circulated since time immemorial, and hence the widespread availability of Dwarven equipment. It also needs to be remembered that some blacksmiths can craft Dwemer equipment with Dwemer metal acquired from melting Dwemer objects. --Vordur Steel-Hammer (TINV1K) 09:04, 18 December 2019 (GMT)
