Cuisses[edit]

Cuisses are essentially greaves in the Elder Scrolls. Even in Online (where the book was introduced) greaves are what covers the area. So while cuisses may be the correct term, they don't exist in the Elder Scrolls universe because greaves are more than just shin guards. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 20:15, 22 June 2014 (GMT)

Actually, looking at it again in context, I think the sic is inappropriate. If they had meant to say cuirass, why would they mention breastplates? Insignificant RevisionsThreatsEvidence 02:33, 23 June 2014 (GMT)
Yeah, it seems odd that it would say cuirass and then breastplate, which is part of the cuirass itself. If they meant cuirass, I'm sure they'd mention greaves as well. —<({Quill-Tail>> 02:39, 23 June 2014 (GMT)
I don't know but this is the first and only usage of the word in the entire series, it's out of place. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 03:04, 23 June 2014 (GMT)
I searched the ESO Log Data and found that cuisses is used to describe at least two different items as well. —<({Quill-Tail>> 03:19, 23 June 2014 (GMT)
Not on the wiki yet, but that's enough for me to remove the sic. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 03:27, 23 June 2014 (GMT)
