Game-Specific?[edit]

This page hardly seems game-specific. All artifact pages go into some depth about their appearances in games, and this one is no different. Everything on this page is written in-universe, bar a link to Skyrim:Elgrim at the end. —Legoless (talk) 15:27, 17 February 2014 (GMT)

Well, I think the issue was that ESO adds the origin story of the brush, which contradicts some of the information on the origins that are presented in Oblivion. Also, things like, the black horse courier report following the quest, that's game specific. There is no lore page on that, and the fact that a news story was release about it isn't really relevant or important for lore. There is game specific info in the article, not that the entire article is game-specific. Jeancey (talk) 15:36, 17 February 2014 (GMT)
Not sure why the news articles don't have lore pages myself, since any publication is usually lore worthy. It's also not the only place Black Horse Courier articles are noted. —Legoless (talk) 15:51, 17 February 2014 (GMT)
Well, they are notes, not actual books, and most notes stay on the game-space pages unless there is an extremely compelling reason to put them in lore. I don't really think they need lore pages. Jeancey (talk) 15:53, 17 February 2014 (GMT)
The whole second paragraph should be replaced with a couple sentences along the lines of "The brush could be dangerous in untrained hands, such as those of a would-be thief in 3E 433. The elf attacked Rythe, entered a painting, and attempted to create Painted Trolls as guardians. However, the trolls turned on their creator, killing him, and Rythe was able to recover the brush with the help of the CoC." We don't need the current level of detail blow-by-blow of the events of a quest in a Lore article unless all the information is relevant. -- Hargrimm(T) 16:40, 17 February 2014 (GMT)
I don't see the difference, but you're free to change the wording however you want. I don't see the need for a 'game-specific' cleanup tag. —Legoless (talk) 16:51, 17 February 2014 (GMT)
