Civil War Event[edit]

Why are Civil War events not included in Lore articles when information from other quests are? Especially in this particular case, in which Balgruuf sides with the Empire regardless of the player's choice in allegiance. Vicano (talk) 16:26, 6 August 2013 (GMT)

We've been avoiding them in lorespace due to the crazy amount of conflicts. I suppose this one is an exception, but I'd like some more input first. —Legoless (talk) 16:42, 6 August 2013 (GMT)
Ah, right. Vicano (talk) 16:48, 6 August 2013 (GMT)
Balgruuf decides to stay with the Empire when he is given the ultimatum by Ulfric, through either side of the questline. After going through his page I think it's safe to say that though he reluctantly is forced to make the decision, once made he throws his full support behind the Empire. The only reason to keep civil war events out of the lorespace is if player choice may preclude them from happening. Player choice has no effect on whether Balgruuf will have to defend his city from the Stormcloaks. edit- I'm not sure if the article currently portrays this in the best way, though. Do we know for certain that Balgruuf "declared his loyalty" to the Empire before the siege? Are we certain that Quentin Cipius participated? Even if we know for sure, I don't know if he merits mentioning. Minor EditsThreatsEvidence 19:43, 6 August 2013 (GMT)
Cipius doesn't participate in the fighting, and is never seen in Whiterun if you side with the Stormcloaks. However, it's probably safe to assume that he's involved regardless. That said, it doesn't seem noteworthy for this page. Balgruuf declares loyalty regardless of the side you pick. —Legoless (talk) 19:55, 6 August 2013 (GMT)
