Knight of the Scarab

The Knights of the Scarab are Gallants serving as the official guard for the royal family of Totambu in Northern Hammerfell. Only the most refined and loyal warriors of the region are considered for initiation.[1] Typically initiates must travel to the Dwemer ruins of Bthzark on the island of Stros M'Kai and "wrestle its mechanical men back into shape" before they can join the Knights of the Scarab.[2] They are known to use shields adorned with scarab symbols.

As a squire, Sir Lathon was preparing to join the Knights of the Scarab in 3E 433, but received a holy calling and joined the Knights of the Nine instead.[3]
