Indoranyon (Dark Elvish for "Blessed Greenland")[1]:39 is a stronghold located on the coast of Vvardenfell, in the province of Morrowind. The fort is one of the most notable landmarks on that stretch of the coast.[2] Indoranyon is mentioned in the historical-fiction book, Poison Song, written by Bristin Xel.[3] The ruin's propylon chamber links to Falensarano and Rotheran.[4]

During the Interregnum in 2E 582, Indoranyon was in complete ruin and overgrown with flora. The House Telvanni magister, Firuth scouted the ruins as a possible place to build his tower. He rejected Indoranyon for a plot of land outside of Vos, in exchange for an endorsement for Sun-in-Shadow.[5]

At some point in the Third Era, the ruins were the haunt of a rogue battlemage named Egroamaro. He was later tracked by the adventurer, Oristian Silverthorn. He fought through the mage's underlings until he finally confronted Egroamaro. Before they fought, Silverthorn used the illusion spell called Silence to prevent the mage from casting spells and promptly struck him down.[6]

During the Blight Outbreak in 3E 427, Indoranyon was occupied by a cult of Dagonites[7] and mages who have enchanted the ruins.[8] Two of these enchanters were a master, Qorwynn and his apprentice, Erundil. The latter possessed the Ring of Sanguine Unseen Wisdom, one of the twenty-six pieces to the Threads of the Webspinner that were later collected by the Morag Tong.[9]
