Even though it is highly redundant, it does display all the information in one place. I think that is what makes it useful for new editors because a lot of people will probably not want to comb through our entire help section. ~ Ad intellige (talk) 18:34, 11 June 2014 (GMT)

It doesn't do that at all. It sums up the help section in too broad statements that don't always hold true, and which cannot be fully explained in short sentences. The see also section isn't any different to the main help page either. The only thing this page does is hold easy links to the categories of Online pages needing attention, which doesn't have any relevance or use as people new to the wiki do not look for what pages need attention, they look for pages they have knowledge on and edit them.
I would suggest that time and effort would be better placed in sprucing up the Getting Started page, which is a lot more constructive than a narrowly focused page that has a limited lifespan and limited use (if any). Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 19:04, 11 June 2014 (GMT)
This page had stood for all of Skyrim's release with slightly different links. A narrow focus will assist new editors by pointing them in a one direction. I do agree that Getting started should be improved (I am am about to start working on it), and I think that at the very least, this page should stand until Getting Started is done. ~ Ad intellige (talk) 19:12, 11 June 2014 (GMT)
Just because it stayed doesn't mean it was a good idea. As I said in IRC, I thought I had prodded the Skyrim page months ago, and I would have opposed its creation had I been around. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 19:17, 11 June 2014 (GMT)
True. At the time, it had consensus and so I was just making it relevant to now. I think it was helpful for new users (Could be wrong) and it, to me, shows we want people to help with ESO information. ~ Ad intellige (talk) 19:21, 11 June 2014 (GMT)
