Namespace Words[edit]

I'm not sure whether the various NS words are the best choices -- I got a bit stumped, especially with NS_BASE vs NS_FULL vs NS_NAME. It's also possible there are other permutations of namespace-related words that we'd want to have easily accessible. Right now it would be easily possible to tweak all of this if anyone has any good suggestions, or if anyone finds some of these names completely illogical. --NepheleTalk 22:03, 22 March 2009 (EDT)

NS_CATEGORY on Tes3Mod & Tes4Mod pages[edit]

On Tes3Mod and Tes4Mod pages that are not part of Tamriel Rebuilt (example, the main pages), the Trail template is causing the text [[Category:]] to appear at the start of the text. This appears to be because the magic word NS_CATEGORY is blank on these pages. --Gaebrial 07:57, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

Well the fix I tried didn't work (didn't really expect it to - the default should have been okay). I guess we have to leave it for Nephele. –RpehTCE 08:38, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
OK, fixed (and rpeh's fix would have worked, too, if not for unrelated issues with, of course, caching). However, any pages with the problem will need to be edited in some way before they get fully updated (i.e., before the change is reflected in the categories).
It still leaves unresolved the issue that Category:Tes3Mod does not exist (and the only reason that Tes3Mod:Main_Page is being put into that category is because its trail is the Morrowind Trail, rather than a modding-related trail). Right now, the mod-related categories are a mess. Category:Tes4Mod exists, but doesn't contain any of the Tes4Mod articles. I basically just tried to stick with the existing categories when I rushed through and implemented the new bread crumb trails, but at some point I think a major reorganization may be needed. --NepheleTalk 17:41, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
Thank you. The main reason the Tes4Mod pages aren't in the category is because of this problem. They just need null-editing, and they will appear. --Gaebrial 07:30, 1 July 2009 (UTC)
