Morrowind Characters and Creatures[edit]

Character artists on Morrowind were in the enviable position of having full "ownership" of their creatures. That is, they built, textured, rigged and animated their models. For many, they even came up with the initial designs too. Below is a sampling of some my character work on Morrowind for which I had "ownership" for.

The Dremora[edit]

I've worked on this character on Daggerfall, Battlespire and now Morrowind. Seemingly human-ish in earlier games it is in fact a Daedra, able to shape its form to its will. In Morrowind the Dremora is a more pumped-up, evil looking, version. My apologies to Mr. Lucas. Darth Maul was only one of its influences!

Daedroth (lesser Daedra)[edit]

More of a beast Daedra, this is once again a creature I had worked on before. He also appeared in Daggerfall. And I used the design from that as the basis for the newer version.

The Hunger[edit]

A replacement creature that had to replace an impossible to program creature.
