Shirley Curry (also known as Skyrim Grandma, Gaming Grandma, and ShirleyCurryTheOlderGamer; born April 2, 1936) is a YouTuber who uploads gaming videos of various The Elder Scrolls games, most prominently Skyrim, which she first started a series on in September 2015. She plays on PC[1] and has tried out variations of including the Special Edition, Skyrim VR,[2] Enderal and Beyond Skyrim: Bruma mods, and has also played the games Elder Scrolls Online and Fallout 4. She reads aloud books from the games in her Granny Shirl's Bookshelf series and likes to post screenshots of scenery from the game.

Shirley is an 87 year old grandmother and a widow, having 4 sons, 9 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. Her birthday is April 2nd and she resides in Ohio. Recently, she is scaling back her videos due to health.[3]

Shirley will be represented as a character in The Elder Scrolls VI.[4] This was as a result of her fans starting a petition to immortalize her in the game.[5] A fan-made Skyrim mod featuring her as a voiced follower was released on May 1, 2021.[6] Her own characters include, Katamet, Ja'rii, La'Corte Dragtail: Thief Of Skyrim, Chronicles of Johndor: Dragonborn, Ward the Mountain Man, Leanna: A Shaman's Tale, Katamet Junior (aka Kat), Uggur the Seeker, El'Mondo: Mercenary For Hire, Seth the Cave Crawler, Rockman the Dragonborn, and Shirley K'ryy in TESOnline. One of her favorite characters is Paarthurnax.[7]
