Dissapearing Sellsword Spellsword

I had recruited Teldryn Sero prior to starting this quest, and upon arriving at the Wreck of the Strident Squall, at a random point (occured several times on different occasions) Teldryn wouldn't suddenly vanish. The first time he mysteriously vanished while exploring hte ship, and did not reappear when waiting or fast travelling, until I fast travelled back to the Squall.
