Horkers[edit]

Should the Horkers be included in the Stalhrim location note? I'm pretty sure that the number of horkers is a leveled spawn since I went there and only encountered two of them. I wasn't sure so I didn't want to edit it without checking first since I'm new. — Unsigned comment by Ukstriker (talkcontribs) at 14:20 on 7 December 2012‎

There were 3 there when I first visited that island. It is possible there could be more but they may be outside aggro range when you attack one, or perhaps they wander into the water a ways. Definitely needs to be looked into a bit more. ᴷᴬᴸᴯᴵᴻᵀᴵ□ᴻ 01:50, 13 February 2013 (GMT)
Only two for me. And the CK shows for cell DLC2POIJS04 exactly two Horkers. I'd guess a third Horker is not from the island, but imported there from somewhere else. --Alfwyn (talk) 13:53, 7 February 2014 (GMT)

Totems of Hircine[edit]

Not sure if it's relevant to this page and/or the quest page, but I got this as the location for my second Totem of Hircine quest. At any rate, I found it odd that it would send me into DLC territory for a "main game" quest.  Airos  ( Talk  Contribs  Email ) 16:31, 10 December 2012 (GMT)

It's not that odd. As noted on the quest page, the location "can be any animal den, vampire lair, or warlock lair with a boss chest." This amounted to over 30 dungeons in the base game, but locations which meet the criteria are added to the list. This was the case for Dawnguard locations as well. — ABCface 23:32, 10 December 2012 (GMT)

Trapped Axe[edit]

There is an axe inside one of the stalhrim deposits. Is the axe accessible or just there to annoy the player? — Unsigned comment by 64.189.250.57 (talk) at 20:57 on 11 December 2012

Questions belong on the talk page. It may be a minor glitch, it definitely isn't there to annoy the player. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 20:59, 11 December 2012 (GMT)
Some of the other stalhrim deposits have draugr that can be looted or loose items which can be taken, so I assume this weapon should be take-able by the player as well. If it isn't, this is probably a bug. — ABCface 21:03, 11 December 2012 (GMT)
I was just able to take this axe (Daedric Battleaxe of Terror for me, so I assume it's leveled) myself, so it definitely looks like you hit a bug in not being able to take it. — ABCface 08:09, 12 December 2012 (GMT)
Well, I had to mine the Stalhrim first, to get the axe. --Alfwyn (talk) 13:57, 7 February 2014 (GMT)

Silver Amethyst Ring[edit]

There appears to be a silver amethyst ring on the table in the shack, it's quite hard to see, but I got lucky whilst turning round and found it. Biffa (talk) 07:45, 19 March 2013 (GMT)

I found it too, though in my case it was a simple silver ring. It's sunk nearly level with the surface of the table, a bit to the right of the map, and the best way to find it is probably to search back and forth over that area until it shows up. Robinwitch1 (talk) 21:11, 1 December 2013 (GMT)

Ghosts?[edit]

When I went to Northshore Landing the second or third time to harvest the ebony outcropping there, I began to hear the voice of an old woman, a voice that seemed to resemble that of the mycologist at Tel Mithryn (thought as far as I know, she's still alive). It repeated over and over phrases like "be sure to come back to me" and "come, let's go." At least once it also said, "time to die." It seems clearest right at the foot of the cliff opposite the docks and a bit to the right (facing the island). Has anyone else heard it? Robinwitch1 (talk) 02:51, 1 December 2013 (GMT)

Okay, found it. It isn't a ghost. It's looping dialog from a female pirate having a confrontation with a pirate mage over the Deathbrand treasure. They're up on the top of the ice cliff and should be inaudible, but somehow the woman's part of the conversation has been triggered and can be clearly heard over and over again, while the pirate mage's responses cannot be heard. A pity in a way... a ghost would have been a nice touch here. Robinwitch1 (talk) 03:04, 1 December 2013 (GMT)

Island Northeast of Northshore Landing[edit]

Is it just me, or does anyone else find Daedric War Axes leaning against the Stalhrim deposit on the island! — Unsigned comment by 98.230.5.94 (talk) at 00:52 on 2 February 2014 (GMT)

The description mentions an enchanted levelled weapon, not several unenchanted. Where did you fin them? Do you have any mods of unofficial patches installed? —MortenOSlash (talk) 06:03, 7 February 2014 (GMT)
It's an axe from the list DLC2LItemEnchWeaponBattleAxeBest, which is a Daedric one from level 52 on. --Alfwyn (talk) 14:00, 7 February 2014 (GMT)

Thalmor[edit]

If you pass the persuasion/intimidation checks, Ancarion says he'll leave the island. Do the Thalmor actually despawn in that case? Vicano (talk) 19:17, 2 February 2015 (GMT)
