Able to Duplicate

I was able to duplicate Ralis Sedarys' entire inventory. I took him on as a follower, then took all his stuff. Then I brought him to the shrine of Boethiah, killed him, and his body duplicated everything as if I had never removed it. I was able to duplicate (heh) this process twice separately. If someone else can duplicate it then it can be confirmed. I don't see an on-death item list for Ralis, or anything in related scripts, so it certainly doesn't appear to be right, and it doesn't happen on any other followers. That's exactly how I was able to get two Hoarfrosts (bcs was interested in this item). Made Ralis my follower, took it from him. Then sacrificed him to Boethiah and looted a second one from his dead body. Was really surprised as Hoarfrost is said to be unique. --Confused_Potato

I was able to get 2 Hoarfrosts by bringing Ralis to Boethia as well; SE 1.6 / USSEP, no related mods. Removing the "verification needed" part on the main page, I hope that's ok 31percent (talk) 21:39, 2 February 2022 (UTC)

Pickpocket Hoarfrost

Once your sneak and pickpocket skills are extremely high with many of the perk tree filled out, you can, like me, pickpocket Hoarfrost even while the guy is running away once you have let him live. Equipped or not, if one's skills are high, there is no stopping you grabbing the thing undetected.

Alternatively with sneak and illusion and Alteration maxed out, you can sneak hidden mode paralyze him, quickly do a Harmony spell to make him forget having been assaulted by paralyze so that there is no message such as "he has already caught you," you can then pickpocket every item visible in his inventory as he begins standing up recovering from the paralyze. If done still with sneak hidden mode, he won't even know who grabbed it from him, etc. I have done this on repeated (many) play throughs.

I was able to duplicate multiple copies via the follower pick up item glitch, but wanted to know if the Hoarfrost was able to be improved via Smithing because an ordinary Nord young lady Dead thrall resurrected was to equip and use it--but in the candidate smithing items, it is not even listed. And Yes, my Smithing perk skill tree is fully populated so can Smith enchanted items. This detail about improvement by smithing being unavailable is likely already in the article, but I have not read far enough into it to see this stated. Duplicat copies of Hoarfrost, if not possessed and claimed by your follower, shall be not flagged as stolen. 216.58.27.151 15:45, 2 February 2022 (UTC)
