Summoning[edit]

Will summoning anything make the inhabitants hostile? I used the Black Market dremora merchant and as soon as he de-summoned they a flipped out and tried to kill me. — Unsigned comment by 74.192.152.131 (talk) at 21:01 on 12 February 2013

I doubt that's what caused it. If you're not a werewolf (as the poster below pointed out), they'll attack you anyhow if you stick around for too long, which you likely did if you were sitting around trading with your Dremora Merchant for a while. TheRealLurlock (talk) 14:03, 19 February 2013 (GMT)
No, and they will only transform into werewolves when attacking you. I conjure the ash guardian several times and frenzy it. The werewolf hunters fight the ash guardian with bows and and melee weapons and the unprotected three of them eventually get killed in human form. 117.175.129.38 01:02, 2 May 2018 (UTC)

Approaching when not a Werewolf.[edit]

When approaching the Crag when not a Werewolf, Rakel approaches you and says: "Halt, Traveller. You have no business here. We mean you no harm but be on your way."

If you do not leave within a short time then they will become hostile and attack the player, shifting into their beastform. Am using the PS3 version so cannot take screenshots.

If you speak to the pack first as a werewolf, cure yourself, then come back[edit]

I was wondering about this but couldn't find an answer anywhere, so I just checked for myself.

After being welcomed as a werewolf and speaking with them, if you come back later after curing your lycanthropy they won't become hostile. They tell you you're not welcome and need to leave, but they won't attack you or transform or anything. If you want the rings of Hircine you'll have to get them while you're a werewolf though since you can no longer buy them from Majni.

This is on PS3, but I'd imagine it's the same on all platforms. — Unsigned comment by 74.192.7.214 (talk) at 01:49 on 14 August 2014

Thanks, I'll note that on the page. Feel free to edit the page yourself next time you have new information. We're always happy to have new editors. Robin Hood  (talk) 02:12, 14 August 2014 (GMT)
