This page lists various unique items available in the Dragonborn add-on. A unique item is an item that fits the following description:

  • Typically can be acquired only once or a few times in a playthrough
  • Generally found only in fixed locations or as a reward from a specific quest, unlike most equipment in the game which is generic and randomly generated
  • Is not of significant historical impact on the lore

Only some of these items can be improved through smithing, and improving enchanted items requires the Arcane Blacksmith perk in cases where the item can be improved at all.

This can be remedied by making Conjuration legendary or using the Black Bock Waking Dreams in order to remove the perk. The perk can also be removed through the console by typing player.removeperk 000581de.
