Not the text in the game[edit]

I don't know where this partucular text from the conversation comes from, perhaps a Daggerfall hint book, but it's not the text that is actually used in the game, Perhapse I'll overwork this article when I've time.--PLRDLF 21:00, 15 June 2008 (EDT)

Fixed quest item placement?[edit]

Is it just me, or does the letter always appear at the same spot (though the surroundings may vary since the dungeon's random). When I did the quest, and for the others who put their videos doing the quest on YouTube, the letter always appeared in a round room in the dungeon's cavern with a rock, with the letter behind this rock. I can verify this as well. Following a youtube video I was led to the same dungeon (Fortress of Fhojum) and found the letter in the same location. Directions: Enter, go forward into caves, follow caves until you get to an intersection at a big rock, take sharp right going dead NORTH and down, at next intersection turn right, then immediately turn the next right and down into the circular cavern room, where the letter sits behind a rock. Both in my run through and in youtube videos I observed various werewolves were present and liches at higher levels. --86.29.114.43 18:09, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
It may be one of those things that gets set when you install the game (doubtful) or it may be something made static by a player fix (more likely). I found the Death Certificate behind the big rock in Fhojum on my most recent playthrough (installed with DaggerfallSetup using all player fixes, but no quest packs), but found it in a different dungeon using a different installer (Bethesda's with no player fixes) on a different computer last week. Back in the CD days, the game tended to favor Fhojum as the destination, but it appeared in different locations within the dungeon on different playthroughs, so if it's now static, it's likely due to something other than the original game files. Quest not removed from log?[edit]

So I gave the death certificate to the prince, but the journal entry about the Underking is still in my log. Does it ever go away? Is the quest actually finished? Or is the game broken? Echo (talk) 23:49, 8 July 2016 (UTC)

Rumors[edit]

Not really important but there are some other rumors one about his maid being send to Skyrim with a chest of gold and one that outright says that Cameron would have preffered Greklith as heir.--217.244.65.31 17:24, 20 August 2019 (UTC)
