Forhtten or forgotten?[edit]

An anonymous user just changed the "Forhtten Pit" to the "Forgotten Pit" and I'm wondering if this was correct, considering that there are also things like the "Maarht Vaults" in the list. Could someone confirm what the in-game name is? Xolroc (talk) 11:22, 27 October 2013 (GMT)

Seems that was taken care of. Should we put a sic tag though, to prevent this from happening again? Xolroc (talk) 12:15, 27 October 2013 (GMT)
It only needs a sic tag if there's actually a spelling or grammar error. Unless there's anything indicating that this is the case, it's fine as is. — ABCface 20:53, 27 October 2013 (GMT)
Seems like there should be some way to say "this is correct, however much it looks like it should be this other thing" without saying "yes, it should be this other thing, but this is how it was in the game". Xolroc (talk) 21:23, 27 October 2013 (GMT)
For instances when you want to display a message to editors without displaying the message on the page itself, you can use "hidden comments" by adding <!-- before and --> after the message. So in the edit window, you could add <!-- Please do not edit this as it is correct.--> next to where it says Forhtten Pit (or whatever message). I don't think it's really necessary here as it's a mistake unlikely to be made again, but hidden comments are useful in certain instances where certain types of edits have been made repeatedly and we wish to curtail further similar revisions (see the bottom of the edit window in this page, for example). Another use for them is when creating placeholder pages when a new game is released, to guide editors on how to format the page (the instructions on this version of that same page, for example). I know I went a little off-topic here, but I figured I'd explain about other uses in case you didn't already know. I still don't think it's a mistake likely to happen on this page again, and thus probably unnecessary to add such hidden comments to this article, but that's just my personal opinion. — ABCface 03:20, 28 October 2013 (GMT)
