Rungvar - the damned fool gave me a key that won't even unlock the supply chest he gave us. Must have made a mix-up. The bloody milk-drinker. My weapon is dull, my armor is nearly all worn away, and my wounds are festering. And, even worse, I hear wolves, their howls growing louder and louder by the night.

I'm being hunted. Pfft. Fat lot of good my 'comrades' have proved. Rungvar's off, what, scouting out some old lake? And Oltrig... creeping around an old tower. Exactly the kind of tactical 'genius' I'd expect from old Ongvir. No wonder they cast him out of the real Stormcloak army. A madman AND a milk-drinker.

Well, the wolves are on the move, and so am I. I'm not about to become their next meal, even if I can scarce put up a fight in this state. I'll trek for as long as my legs'll carry me, and, when they falter, I'll give it my all.

Too bad my all probably won't be good enough.
