Detailed Walkthrough

Point A
Enter here from the outside area. There are about 6 guard or so that will come your way sooner or later. All the chests appear to be locked. You may have noticed that your new soul sword is at least twice as powerful as your old saber. Guards that once took 4-5 hits go down in 2, making your work just that much easier.

Point B
This room has one guard and a health potion. Don't forget to grab another health potion in the South-West room before heading South.

Point C
Dispatch the guard at the bottom and climb to the top of the spiral staircase. The door at the top is not locked.

Point D
This kitchen area has 1 guard just inside it and the North door is locked. The wheel in the North wall moves the pot from the fire giving you access to the chimney. You can climb the chain but the fire hurts you quite a bit. You can solve this problem by retreiving a pail from the kitchen area and filling it will water from the large taps. There is a health potion on the upper level.

Point E
This large room is the one you see several times in mini-cutscenes with Lord Richton and Dram. They are nowhere to be seen now but there is a total of 4 guards. Don't forget the health potions on the bottom level in the North and South West. All the doors are locked except an open door in the far East, but you can't immediately reach it. Stand on the railing above the stairs in the West and make a running jump onto the nearest chandalier. It is possible but tricky to catch. From there it's a simple matter of jumping from one chandalier to the next to reach the door. Some people cannot make this jump on their systems. And even for some others (including on my own system) the easier jump is from the railing next to the wall and jumping directly to the balcony and grabbing hold of the edge of it.

Point F
This room has 2 guards in it and a health potion in the South. There is a silver key on a table in the North East.

Point E Again
With the silver key you can now open just about all the locked doors. In the locked door to the North-West there are several potions. Open the lower door to the West and continue.

Point G
This is a large, round area with 3 guards patrolling inside. Climb onto the elevator and pull the lever to raise or lower it. Pull the lever at the top, outside, to lower the lift to reach the hot air ballon. You can now return to outside the palace the way you came.

Point H
This is the room where you first met and confronted Lord Richton when you delivered the amulet. The exit to the palace is locked.

Finishing
Climb onto the elevator outside and face Dram at the top. He's not that hard with your new sword and takes only about 3 hits before he disappears once again (wuss...). Continue on and face Richton on the ballon. He's probably one of your tougher opponents so go ahead and use a strength and ironskin potion. As soon as you jump onto the ballon the structure behind you will collaspe. When you climb onto the ballon he will begin to attack you. You first have to get over the railing before you draw which allows him a few free hits. He's a good swordsman but doesn't move a lot and can be taken out with around 10 normal hits. Enjoy the ending cutscene...
