So, I tried to find the mudcrab merchant for the first time ever even though I have played a lot of Morrowind. I used the map that can be found on this site. I went to the exact same island that is shown on the map, but the mudcrab never shows. I know for sure I didn't accidentally kill the mudcrab merchant because whenever I found a mudcrab I always tried to start a conversation with it. By the way I am playing the GOTY edition on the xbox if that makes any difference.

The thing is just really bloody tricky to find, because it doesn't present or show anything to suggest it's not a normal mudcrab. Took me ages to do so myself.

You just have to look around and click to "activate" the mudcrabs in the area and find one with a dialogue window.

Here is his icon on the map for reference, so that both of us are on the same page together. If he's not here, just move to the next island over in each direction and see if he's there in case the map is off a bit, but he's definitely, definitely on one of these three or four islands in that cluster there.

Checking in the CS, the map marker is correct.
