Pemenie's bounty

I've just done the 'Pemenie and the Boots of Blinding Speed' quest and a guard mentioned there's a bounty on her head, but when I killed her I received no journal update and the guard just said that she had come to untimely end on her travels, instead of telling me where to collect the bounty. Does anyone know who I'm supposed to talk to now?

I believe I did actually get the chance to test that out after that discussion, but I don't clearly recall being able to confirm the rumour. I might try again if I get the chance, and will report back if I find anything (I'd love to hear back from you if you do, so be sure to let us know!).

Nothing happened when I talked to the traders in Caldera, unfortunately. I think the bloke on the other forum must be getting this quest muddled up with another one.

It may be that it's a quest that was never implemented. As I discussed in the original thread, I found references to it not only on forums, but also on the UESP article's talk page. What may have happened is that a mod added content to complete the quest, which would certainly lead to the confusion. As yet, I haven't been able to find such a mod, but it seems to me that too many people reported this for it to be a mere coincidence. Altogether puzzling.
