blasted ordinators

Ok I just killed dagoth ur yesterday and now i'm just trying to finish the redoran quests. When I go to vivec, the ordinators are still trying to kill me even though I just saved morrowind. I just assumed that since i defeated dagoth ur, they would respect me more and wouldn't try and kill a hero. Can anyone please tell me how to calm them down.
