I played Daggerfall a few years ago and couldn't remember this bug: Everytime I ask for directions to a building it messes up the dialogue. Something like "You have to go Daggerfall Castle is east of here". Just wanted to know if it's a common bug or if I messed up my install. |

If you're talking about grammatically incorrect phrases, it's quite common although I don't think it happens all the time. If the directions themselves that the characters give you are wrong, that's a completely different story and you should probably re-install the game. Sometimes though, wrong directions might be caused by errors in a particular quest, but I think most quest bugs have been fixed by unofficial patches. |
