Why were 211 users on May 6th 2009?

I can't seem to find any reason why it was May 6th in '09; I mean, there were no big release right?

If I remember, it was a combination of factors. I believe up until the past few years, UESP didn't have the same precautions in place for bots, so there was an abundance of "users" on who weren't really people. You'll note that the number of users also includes guests, so bot accounts were probably a lot of the traffic, and not registered bots, if that makes sense. Another contributing factor would have been that the forums saw more traffic several years back on the whole. I don't know why, but they were just more populated. We of course see booms in population with new releases/re-releases/dlc/etc, but I think there are just less users consistently on now. I also seem to remember that we saw a bit of a boom when Fallout 3 and New Vegas came out, as many users found their way to TES because of Fallout. So I'd venture to guess that it was a combination of more users, a lot of fake users, and something like a Fallout spike.
