Re:Names?[edit]

Well, it's only a fanfic, only to be posted here for amusement and fun...but if you want me to edit out Lurlock (or maybe change the name...Thereal?), I'm cool. It's a joke piece, mostly...Somercy 13:29, 31 August 2007 (EDT)

Well, so long as you're not planning on releasing it to the general public, and it's clear that you got the name from me, I suppose it'd be alright. And so long as you don't do anything TOO embarassing with it... --TheRealLurlock Talk 14:31, 31 August 2007 (EDT)
Okay, then, I'll leave you as Lurlock. As for general public...I'm posting it here, is that public? Well considering how far you have to search for our fanfic section, probably not. Somercy 10:15, 4 September 2007 (EDT)

We're Saved![edit]

Thanks, Lurlock--we were drowning in spam without you! If marking the spam edits as patrolled made your job more difficult, I'm really sorry. I was only doing it because it made it far easier to keep track of which spam had already been reverted and which ones had been missed. --Eshe 12:02, 10 September 2007 (EDT)

No, patrolling them is fine. Actually better because it saves me a step in dealing with them all. Just don't bother putting warnings on their talk pages. (I know that wasn't you, just bears repeating.) The red "Talk" links are what I look for mostly. Thanks for helping to revert all this while I was asleep. --TheRealLurlock Talk 12:04, 10 September 2007 (EDT)

Ingredient Links[edit]

I'm trying to at least get caught up on a few of the easy NepheleBot tasks, so I'm going through and replacing all cases where Template:MW Ingredients Link, etc are used. I noticed, though, that on Morrowind:Alchemy Effects there are now a handful of red links. Any chance you could figure out what needs to be tweaked there? It's possible there are similar problems on other pages, too, although I'm not sure whether it's worth tracking them down. --NepheleTalk 01:17, 13 September 2007 (EDT)

Nothing serious. One repeated mis-spelling, one lower-case letter that should've been capital, and two ingredients from Bloodmoon that were labeled as Morrowind. All fixed. --TheRealLurlock Talk 09:15, 13 September 2007 (EDT)

Have They Been Good?[edit]

Hello Lurlock. I was just wondering if any of the images I "fixed" were any good. Please let me know, because I do not want to make the images worse. Thank You. --Playjex 12:22, 13 September 2007 (EDT)

They're better, though some of them have a ways to go before good, I think. Not all images can be fixed by just brightening them up and color-balancing. Some may need more detailed work, or simply require replacing if they're to far-gone. However, you haven't made anything worse, there's just a few that could use some more work. --TheRealLurlock Talk 13:37, 13 September 2007 (EDT)

Ask myself Why it's so important that I remove this comment?[edit]

Please visit the Tamriel:Imperial talk page before being crass with me over a subject you have researched very little.

Ah. You have visited the talk page. Nonetheless, I was treated unfairly by Eshe, and that wasn't reflected in your comment- probably due to her/his rich background of edits.. Although the latest have been detestable..
You'll notice I already did. And responded to your claims. What more do you want? And what makes you assume that I am not knowledgeable about the subject? And accusing me of being "crass" is simply ridiculous. Compared to the behavior you've displayed both with other editors and on edit summaries and such, I think I've been more than reasonable. --TheRealLurlock Talk 12:52, 17 September 2007 (EDT)
Yea.. Eshe didn't have edit summaries at all.
After reverting your edits FOUR TIMES, edit summaries begin to seem a bit redundant, don't they? Continually making the same edit over and over again is not going to do anyone any good. Please stop wasting our time and yours by dragging out this meaningless argument. You're outnumbered. Obviously, nobody agrees with your edits, so stop making them. A wiki is a community-run website. It is not a free-for-all where anybody can make any change they want. Community consensus is the rule, and the community obviously disagrees with your changes. --TheRealLurlock Talk 13:02, 17 September 2007 (EDT)

Morrowind redesign project[edit]

Can I join? I play Morrowind a lot and am on the wiki almost as much. If I can, can you tell me how? --Jesus lover 19:22, 22 September 2007 (EDT)

Sure, anyone can join. Just sign yourself up on the Morrowind Redesign Project page in any section in which you feel you can help out and go for it. The more the merrier. --TheRealLurlock Talk 20:45, 22 September 2007 (EDT)
However, if your contributions are going to be as minimal as this, I'd prefer it if you at least included the {{stub-mw}} tag on the page. Short, orphaned pages with no trails, links or categories are not very helpful, and in fact can make it harder for other editors to determine which pages still need to be added. --TheRealLurlock Talk 20:55, 22 September 2007 (EDT)

Just a LITTLE help Please.[edit]

Hey Lurlock,

I was only pondering if there was like a "Guide to TEMPLATE" creation or something like that on the site. Just asking. Thank You dude. --Playjex 19:53, 22 September 2007 (EDT)

Hey Playjex, try Help:Templates and Help:Writing Templates. I found them both very helpful when I was working with templates. Good luck! --Eshe 19:59, 22 September 2007 (EDT)

Thank You very much. With passion --Playjex 20:05, 22 September 2007 (EDT)
