New Page Request[edit]

Hey, I noticed your new page request and I know it's not exactly what you had in mind, but there is already a page listing essential NPCs here. Obviously they're not all good practice targets, since many will fight back, but you can search the lists there for any good practice targets you may not already be aware of. Then, if you create a sample Practice Target article in your sandbox for the page request, you would have a little more to add. Hope this helps! ABCface 03:42, 12 March 2012 (UTC)

Unofficial Dawnguard Patch[edit]

Just to clear up any confusion, yes, we do add the Unofficial Dawnguard Patch info to bugs. I've now included it as an option in the bug template itself. Just add |UDGP|1.1a to the Bug template (e.g., {{Bug|description|UDGP|1.1a}}). If there's a "confirmed" or "vn" parameter, it doesn't matter whether you place it before or after, just as long as they're the second and third unnamed parameters in the template. "The player"[edit]

I noticed you adding some of the cut material from the civil war. Thanks, it's interesting :)

But I've been proofing your edits. This site avoids using phrases like "the player" and "the Dragonborn" and "the Hero of Kvatch" in game articles, and just uses "you." So, instead of writing "the player sees Ondolemar die" (for example) you write "you see Ondolemar die."

Hope this helps. --Morrolan (talk) 05:15, 14 September 2013 (GMT)

Ah yes, when posting a lot of stuff misspellings and the like tend to happen. And I wasn't quite sure which I was supposed to use, as it seems to be very inconsistent from wiki to wiki. Some sites use "the player", some use the character title, some use "you"... Thanks for clearing that up in this case. (Rylasasin (talk) 05:25, 14 September 2013 (GMT))

Advice - Use the "Show Preview" feature[edit]

Hello and welcome to UESPWiki! Thanks for your interest in the wiki; however, you seem to have been making multiple edits to a page by not using the show preview button, clogging up the Recent Changes in the process. We appreciate your enthusiasm, but keep in mind that each edit needs to be patrolled, so multiple consecutive edits create an unnecessary hassle on those who patrol. So please utilize this feature! You may also want to look over our style guide and Getting Started guide. Feel free to ask if you have any questions. -snowmane  xoxo 06:33, 14 September 2013 (GMT)
