Hello and welcome to UESPWiki! Thanks for your interest in the wiki. If you would like to experiment with how to edit, you may want to try editing in our sandbox. Adding false information, or falsifying existing information, to UESPWiki articles disrupts those pages and forces other editors to spend time cleaning them up. You may also want to look over our style guide and Getting Started guide. Feel free to ask if you have any questions. --DKong27 Talk Cont 22:30, 28 November 2010 (UTC)

Sandbox[edit]

Hey, I noticed you blank the sandbox page. The page is there for people to experiment, and for help with sandboxes. This can't be done if the page isn't there. If you had a valid reason for blanking it, an edit summary would have cleared up the confusion. Thanks - Emoboy64 00:10, 29 November 2010 (UTC)

Warnings[edit]

I've removed the warnings, because the first was given inappropriately, and I apologize on behalf of the user who placed the warning. The subsequent behavior you displayed, however, I ask you to stop. Vandalizing the wiki only harms the work others have done, and it's work that wasn't necessarily done by the person you're angry with. Please feel free to ask any questions you have. --GKtalk2me 01:24, 29 November 2010 (UTC)

I accept ur apolige, and sry bout the edits. my younger brother found out that my computer was on and i was logged onto the site,so he was messing around and riuning stuff. I am terribly sry bout that

Apology[edit]

Sorry for warning you against posting nonsense. If you have any questions about editing please contact a Mentor. Emoboy64 01:34, 29 November 2010 (UTC)

Blackwood Company[edit]

Please don't add it again - its already on the page under the Minor Guilds heading. rpeh •TCE 14:27, 29 November 2010 (UTC)

Why?[edit]

Why do you remove content without explanation?

Case 1: You try to vandalize the Wiki, and try to avoid being considered a vandal. Please stop.

Case 2: Your brother is making all those edits and is annoying us. Please stop.

Case 3: You think the content you remove has to be removed. In this case, it's better to leave a message at the article's talk page.

Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 16:36, 29 November 2010 (UTC)

Case 4: Adding Bendu Olo to the citizen lists in towns and cities. These lists are derived straight from the CS and therefore are correct. Please could you stop this. - Emoboy64 16:38, 29 November 2010 (UTC)
To me, it seems correct that Bendu Olo belongs at the Tutorial Dungeon, because he starts there. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 16:46, 29 November 2010 (UTC)
Today was not the first incident, two appeared yesterday on the page for Bravil and Anvil, if I recall correctly - Emoboy64 16:52, 29 November 2010 (UTC)
In this case... --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 16:55, 29 November 2010 (UTC)

Hey, i am sorry for the edits and warned my brother bout the edits yesterday and today. I am going to make a new account and new password.

Lastly, I do not know why the name Bendu Olo shouldnt be under the turitol list because he does start there, and he is the defult character.

It's better to create a new account. Just remember to uncheck the "remember me" button and log out each time you go off the computer. About Bendu Olo, I believe he should be there. I'll ask Krusty. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 17:34, 29 November 2010 (UTC)
I'd have to disagree about The Player being in the people list. Perhaps initially "found" there, the location after that is completely... random, let us say. Besides, the character itself is completely random as well. All it really does is perhaps cause confusion to some: "Huh? Who the hell is that? Never heard of that guy... Oh I get it, it's the player..." ~ Dwarfmp 17:38, 29 November 2010 (UTC)

Bendu Olo[edit]

To clear up any confusion here is why Bendu Olo does not warrant a spot on any list of citizens. He is the player character, not an NPC. All information on the lists are taken from the CS directly, and is not mentioned for what ever reason. Please do not add this any more to any list. If you feel his name should be added, mention this on his talk page before hand, it will then be discussed.

Make sure you keep this new information away from your "brother". I hope you can become an active and useful editor to the UESP. - Emoboy64 17:37, 29 November 2010 (UTC)

I want to become very useful for UESP. I just have to keep brother away from my computer. I will keep trying to gather info for this site.

A small trick...[edit]

Thank you. I will keep him away from it.
You're welcome. Now go for it! --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 17:51, 29 November 2010 (UTC)

Questions?[edit]

If I find something that is not added to a certaint article, I put information that I find, and the members say its false? What do I do?

Does everything I put on an article have to be writtenn exactly perfect and 100% written accurate? I guess so. lol

Is this what the "sigh your post" supposed to look like (Exodus 18:15, 29 November 2010 (UTC))

If information is false, it will most likely be removed and you will be notified. It helps both you and other editors if what you write is correct and written correctly e.g. spelling and grammar. If something is mis-spelt an editor would pick up on it and change it for you. Do not be afraid to edit if you are not the best speller. And yes, yes it is.- Emoboy64 18:17, 29 November 2010 (UTC)

thanks, and ya, im not the best speller in the world, and im use to typeing like in txt form. (Exodus 18:20, 29 November 2010 (UTC))

Don't worry about making mistakes, people who watch the Recent Changes will see your edit and fix anything wrong you possibly made. I've also answered your question at my talk page. If you want to see when I answered your post without having to check my page, your can add my page to your watchlist and press the "my watchlist" button at the top of the page each time you want to see if I answered your question. And yes, it is supposed to look like this. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 18:20, 29 November 2010 (UTC) P.S. I got 4 edit conflicts while trying to answer to Exodus. LoL.

How do I add people to my watchlist? (Exodus 18:23, 29 November 2010 (UTC))
When you go at a page, you'll see a button saying "watch" 3 buttons right from the button "edit". You just press "watch" and the page is added to your watchlist. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 18:28, 29 November 2010 (UTC)

Can I ask questions about a certain game in peticular, since i play oblivion, I may want to know sertain things. I have beaten almost all quest, but there might be certain items i may want to find, that i dont know where to find? (Exodus 18:36, 29 November 2010 (UTC))

What do you want to find in particular, weapons, apparel, potions, rare items, etc.? --Dremora Lord 18:38, 29 November 2010 (UTC)
I have a list of certain items I want to find, and i will ask when I get to playing so i can find them while looking.
For quests, see here. If you want to find a specific item, tell which item you want and I'll tell you. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 18:43, 29 November 2010 (UTC)
Alright, good luck and enjoy the game, [1] and [2] are a list of different armor and weapons, don't click them if you don't want to spoil what is available, it'll give you a look at what there is available though. --Dremora Lord 18:49, 29 November 2010 (UTC)
Where can I find the Ring of Perfection? (Exodus 19:09, 29 November 2010 (UTC))
The Ring of Perfection is hard to find, because it is random loot. Containers that have a chance of containing magical jewerly may contain the Ring of Perfection. Note that you must be at least level 22 to find it. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 19:16, 29 November 2010 (UTC)
The Ring of Perfection is a loot item, therefore it appears in most higher-level chests, it doesn't have a specific location so I suggest you check most jewelery chests, or it may be on higher-level NPCs, good luck on finding it, sorry for the lack of help on that one. :P
EDIT: Rigas beat me to it. :) --Dremora Lord 19:21, 29 November 2010 (UTC)
How do you upload a picture to your profile so people can see it? (Exodus 23:26, 29 November 2010 (UTC))
What do you mean, on your main homepage where it says "Hi, I'm Exodus, I'm 15, etc..."? If you click on my name you'll see that I have a picture of a Dremora and at the bottom a weapon stash, is that what you're wondering? --Dremora Lord 13:57, 30 November 2010 (UTC)
Ya, im wondering how you can upload a picture. (Exodus 17:33, 30 November 2010 (UTC))
When you are perfering to an item, quest, image, ect... How can you put the link in the sentence so people can look it up from there? (Exodus 17:36, 30 November 2010 (UTC))
Look a few paragraphs up from this reply, you will see I linked the Ring of Perfection, just do what I did but replace Ring of Perfection with something else, such as... A link to your page. --Dremora Lord 18:54, 30 November 2010 (UTC)
To upload files, just go here. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 20:05, 30 November 2010 (UTC)

Im still having trouble with putting an article in a sentance only using the name of the item, so people can go to the article. (Exodus 23:27, 30 November 2010 (UTC))

What is it your trying to do exactly. Something like this? - Emoboy64 00:02, 1 December 2010 (UTC)
Is this what its supposed to look like. Trying to put the article as a word. (Exodus 00:23, 1 December 2010 (UTC))
Yes that's it! - Emoboy64 00:30, 1 December 2010 (UTC)
Ok, great, Im now starting to get the hang of it, the only problem is that I sometimes dont put down the name correctly and get a blank page. Lol (Exodus 00:32, 1 December 2010 (UTC))
Is there an easier way to remember to sign ur post? (Exodus 00:40, 1 December 2010 (UTC))
Make sure you capitalise at the start of every word in the links for them. And unfortunately not, its something your going to have to get used to - Emoboy64 00:43, 1 December 2010 (UTC)
Alrighy, thank you, And can you edit my profile if there is something wrong and i dont quite see it, or if i just dont know how to fix it? (Exodus 00:49, 1 December 2010 (UTC))

Are there arrows of paralize anywhere in Oblivion the game? I know that was improper grammer, lol. (Exodus 01:18, 1 December 2010 (UTC))

In response to the first 'question' no because I do not know what it is that is wrong, and in response to the second question may I suggest using the search bar, or checking the oblivion items page. From there links to clothing, weapons, armour etcetera and even categories for enchanted items. Using these methods helps keep the recent changes clean and tidy. - Emoboy64 01:44, 1 December 2010 (UTC)
Are people Still working on Oblivion Redisign Project, if so, is there a way that I can Help? (Exodus 17:28, 1 December 2010 (UTC))
Which of the 2 redesign projects? NPCs or places? --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 17:32, 1 December 2010 (UTC)
NPC (Exodus 17:33, 1 December 2010 (UTC))
Go here and add your name in the list of the projects members. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 17:47, 1 December 2010 (UTC)
Thanks, so how can I start helping? (Exodus 22:07, 1 December 2010 (UTC))
One way you could help is by checking the project page and clicking the links under add information or checking information. Reading the project page my also help you with what needs doing and how to do it. - Emoboy64 22:41, 1 December 2010 (UTC)
How can you fix/edit NPC info? (Exodus 15:47, 2 December 2010 (UTC))
With same way you make any edit. If you mean where to find the values, just search the template. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 15:57, 2 December 2010 (UTC)
I can't find the edit button on NPC pages though (Exodus 16:04, 2 December 2010 (UTC))
It is at exactly the same place with any edit button at any page. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 16:06, 2 December 2010 (UTC)
I still cant find it, its weird, all it shows is the redesighn project, thats it (Exodus 16:17, 2 December 2010 (UTC))
Which page you want to edit? --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 16:19, 2 December 2010 (UTC)

Hang on, ill make a short list of people that I may want to edit. (Exodus 16:21, 2 December 2010 (UTC))

The List of People I would like to edit/fix.

What is the name of the island that is west of Anvil, between Summerest Isles (Exodus 22:58, 19 December 2010 (UTC))

Why not[edit]

Why cant we put Bendu Olo in the tutoriol. If no one wants a name for there character, and see this random name whenever they start a new game without putting a name, how will they know where the name came from? (Exodus 19:50, 29 November 2010 (UTC))

Actually, the name never appears in game. There is only a minor bug in the PC, in which the player must press "Escape" during the character creation. Sometimes, this causes the name of your character to be Bendu Olo. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 20:01, 29 November 2010 (UTC)
Where did they come up with the name and why'd they put it in the game? (Exodus 20:06, 29 November 2010 (UTC))
Im getting oblivion GOTY for pc this christmas. Btw
The name is a reference to the former King of Anvil. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 20:12, 29 November 2010 (UTC) P.S. What does "BTW" means?
BTW stands for by the way (Exodus 20:18, 29 November 2010 (UTC))
Thanks. --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 20:32, 29 November 2010 (UTC)

Preview[edit]

I noticed you have made many small edits to pages, please could you use the 'Show Preview' button before saving the page. This is so the recent changes patrollers have an easier job. If you have any questions please comment on my talk page - Emoboy64 23:55, 29 November 2010 (UTC)

ok, thanks for letting me know, and im wondering if the info is right, that i put on. The info i put should be right. (Exodus 00:00, 30 November 2010 (UTC))
The information you put seems 'right' but I don't think there is an actual category for NPC'S that contact you during sleep. I will leave it to a more experienced member to verify this information. Its good to see you contributing in a helpful way, and don't hesitate to ask if you need anything - Emoboy64 00:04, 30 November 2010 (UTC)

Thank you, i did quite notice that and i thought it would be something that someone would know, and I thought Lucien Lachance and Casta Flavis are under the Appear in Sleep catigory. (Exodus 00:11, 30 November 2010 (UTC))

Aren't lucien lachance and casta flavis in the Appear in Sleep category? (Exodus 13:03, 30 November 2010 (UTC))

Again, please use the "Show preview" button! rpeh •TCE 16:39, 3 December 2010 (UTC)
For what?!? I didn't edit anything. (Exodus 17:27, 3 December 2010 (UTC))
Yes you did. You made 19 edits to your user page between 16:22 and 16:34. rpeh •TCE 17:29, 3 December 2010 (UTC)

Ohh, ok,. I thought It didn't matter on my Own Page. (Exodus 17:31, 3 December 2010 (UTC))
