Multiple Edits[edit]

I really need to point this out, but Please try to avoid making multiple edits successively. For example, you (I included the IP edits I assume are you) made 21 edits to Oblivion talk:Courier and 11 to Oblivion:The Black Horse Courier. Those of us who Patrol the Recent Change have to patrol each edit individually, making it a bigger hassle than it need be. --DKong27 Tk Ctr Em 20:38, 26 August 2011 (UTC)

Just a note the on show preview subject can be found on this page -- Thanks --KizC ·•· Talk ·•· Contribs ·•· Mail ·•· 20:43, 26 August 2011 (UTC)
Ooh, thanks for that link...I never knew that page existed. O.O I can use that from now on. --DKong27 Tk Ctr Em 20:45, 26 August 2011 (UTC)

Ooops! Sorry guys I will re-read more carefully and use the preview button next time so I don't pile up successive edits. =) --D. Gemini 21:31, 26 August 2011 (UTC)

Welcome![edit]

Hello! Welcome to UESPWiki. It's always good to have new members. If you would like to help improve any of our pages, you may want to take a look at the following links:

If you, on the other hand, would like to spice up your userpage, take a look at this link:

  • Userboxes: near complete list of userboxes, including a guide to make your own

When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).

Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox or discuss the games in the forums. If you need any help, don't hesitate to contact me or one of our other mentors. Have fun! --Corevette789 20:49, 26 August 2011 (UTC)

Signature[edit]

Your signature was red because you had nothing written on your user page. It's blue now, though. Kitkat1749 TalkContribE-mail 21:07, 26 August 2011 (UTC)

I just noticed that. Now I now why thanks! --D. Gemini 21:31, 26 August 2011 (UTC)

Btw the bit on the Black horse courier page looks nice, and it's still there, so it hasn't been deleted :)
Good job adding it to the right page after I gave you the wrong link (sorry!) I hope you enjoy the wiki! Kitkat1749 TalkContribE-mail 21:46, 26 August 2011 (UTC)

Heheh... Yeah someone made it shorter and more to the point. Which I don't have a problem with because now instead of being in the "Notes" section it's up at the top of the article so more people will see it and be able to use the information to get more copies of the paper, if they didn't know how to before (I was recently one of those people). I also just found out 3 (~)'s just signs your name, while 4 (~)'s signs your name with a timestamp. =) --D. Gemini 21:55, 26 August 2011 (UTC)

Or you could just hit the signature button (it's the second last one from the left in the editing tools) ;) Kitkat1749 TalkContribE-mail 00:00, 27 August 2011 (UTC)

MJ Jokes[edit]

Do not belong on the spell absorption page. Or on any other oblivion talk page, for that matter. I answered your question. Kitkat1749 TalkContribE-mail 15:55, 29 August 2011 (UTC)

Haha true. I guess in my own way I was just letting more people know you can make a Redguard with a light complexion to the point where you can't even tell he's a Redguard. I guess I could have done so separately on the races talk page if it's not there already and without the MJ reference. It's weird, this is my only character and I've just pretended I was born different and cast out of my home village and fell off a waterfall fighting an ogre and when I woke up in the dungeon I had amnesia.
Ah... That's a roleplaying idea! Or maybe it's a fanfiction... Kitkat1749 TalkContribE-mail 17:13, 29 August 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for the links, I started writing the backstory for my character on my User page if you or anyone else is interested. Maybe I will copy them into the fanfiction page. Although I hate to say it, I read some of those and there's only a few that are any good so far. :P
Hehe, I like it! But why did they kill his Auntie?! Jerks... And isn't kidnapping random people like... Illegal? Ah well, it's your fanfic! And it's good! Kitkat1749 TalkContribE-mail 10:50, 31 August 2011 (UTC)

My Character Fanfiction Talk[edit]

I read a few more of the stories people have wrote on here, and I am starting to like more of them than I did before... I'm glad you got interested in my story enough Kitkat to be semi-upset about what happens with his aunt, because to tell you the truth as I was writing it, it was making me angry and sad as well. As far as the kidnapping, think of it more as relocating haha... and maybe the deceased uncle had some conflict with Elinhir's ruler and he was actually poisoned I don't know... I was making it up as I went, although I have always had bits and pieces of the story already decided as I played my character in Oblivion. By the way, do you know what the rulers of Hammerfell's major cities were called off the top of your head? Was it also Counts? And, have you read "The Infernal City"? If so is it any good? I haven't played Oblivion in a couple days because I've been playing Pac-Man Championship Edition DX on PS3, and I'm in 8th place out of 48,000 players on a particular level worldwide score woot! If anyone else finds themselves on my page, don't hesitate to post comments or suggestions for my story on this talk page... Now I think I'll go to the Arcane University because I just completed my final Mages Guild Recommendation for Anvil the last time I played. That one was one of my favorites out of all the recommendations. =) --D. Gemini 05:05, 1 September 2011 (UTC)

Never read "Infernal city", but anyone who has loved it. In Redguard, there's no "Count" of Stros M'kai (a city in Hammerfell), but rather a 'provisional governor' who is an Imperial and a servant to the Empire. His name is Admiral Lord Amiel Richton, and he's a bit of a pain. Sorry I took forever to reply to that! Kitkat1749 TalkContribE-mail 21:20, 1 September 2011 (UTC)
Ahh, interesting. Thanks! --D. Gemini 21:49, 1 September 2011 (UTC)
