Copyrighted Map[edit]

I've deleted the map you uploaded to the site, because it's copyrighted by the Imperial Library. Content created and owned by someone else cannot be uploaded onto UESP. --NepheleTalk 03:21, 29 December 2011 (UTC)

Please Verify the policy about copyrights.— Unsigned comment by Cole1 (talkcontribs) on 29 December 2011
What exactly needs to be verified?
From UESPWiki:Copyright_and_Ownership#Image_Copyright: "Other pictures should be available under the by-sa license or in the public domain. Any images that violate copyright are subject to deletion."
From Help:Images#Sources_of_Images: "Images on web sites other than UESP can not in general be copied here. Images that have been copied from elsewhere are copyright violations and will be deleted on sight."

Thank you for the verfication.

Elder Scroll[edit]

You could try to add info about the scroll to the page for the quest involving it, Elder Knowledge, but the page you were attempting to add it to is a "book page", meant to have little more than the text of a document. Minor Edits 04:03, 29 December 2011 (UTC)

That is correct. If you have any concerns, you should take it to the article's talk page, rather than deciding on your own that the article isn't handled correctly because it follows the site's standards. I will restore the page to its previous state, and it is to stay like that until and unless it is decided by the community that it is to be changed. If you continue to disrupt the site I'm forced to give you an official warning ~ Dwarfmp 06:08, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
The problem is that I have fixed the problem and it was a book page then but the admin kept deleting it. I need time to get it right, i think it is ridiculous that I signed up for an account and I cant edit what needs to be without putting up with this. — Unsigned comment by Cole1 (talkcontribs) at 12:50 on 29 December 2011 (UTC)
I know what you're trying to do, I know you have good intentions, but you're not doing it the right way. I suggest you create a sandbox and work on your article there while you wait for more people to give their opinion on the matter. Check out this page if you want to learn how to edit and improve the site. And please sign your posts with ~~~~ ~ Dwarfmp 18:19, 29 December 2011 (UTC)

Dawnguard[edit]

Most screenshots have been uploaded under bad naming. You'd be better off checking the page to see if an image has been added before you upload any more. His name is Skyrim:Harkan. The Silencer has spokenTalk 19:56, 6 June 2012 (UTC)

Im sorry what exactly do you want me to do? And it is not yet confirmed that he is Harkan.--Cole1 20:03, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
You uploaded a duplicate screenshot. One will be deleted and one will be renamed, it might be yours it might be the other, I'm just trying to save you the bother of uploading pictures and having them deleted when they are already uploaded. The Silencer has spokenTalk 20:12, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
Ill delete mine the other is better quality. But it isnt compleatly a duplicate it must be from another angle because it doesnt show in the duplicate files list.--Cole1 20:14, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
Duplicates only show those of the same filename unfortunately. All that can be done is to mark it for deletion. You can mark it with a {{Speed|uploader request, duplicate file}} as you uploaded it. The Silencer has spokenTalk 20:23, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
It is from a different angle but I dont mind any deletion.--Cole1 20:25, 6 June 2012 (UTC)

() Also, Cole1, the image naming guidelines can be found here, for future reference. Vely►Talk►Email 20:26, 6 June 2012 (UTC)

Thanks i never knew, but I never upload that much pictures.--Cole1 20:28, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
