Hello and welcome! When you find spelling or grammar mistakes in books, please use the {{sic}} template instead of directly fixing the text. As a matter of principle, this wiki strives to stay true to the games, and just in the same way that bugs and glitches are reported, so do typos. An example of how to use the sic template: "antidesestablishmentarianism" should be changed into {{sic|antidesestablishmentarianism|antidisestablishmentarianism}}, which results in antidesestablishmentarianism [sic]. --Gez 15:20, 9 March 2009 (EDT)

If the texts are incorrect in the game itself, [sic] should have been used in the first place. In the absence of such a denotation, it can be assumed that the text is correct in the game version(s) but the person typing them up erred. Adding a [sic] after the fact implies that the creators of the game made an error, as opposed to the person who transplanted the info on the wiki. — Unsigned comment by 24.118.73.28 (talk) on 10 March 2009
Most of our books are copied straight from the CS for the relevant game; it seems this wasn't the case for some of the SI books. For the ones you changed, it was indeed a transcription error so needed fixing. For errors in the books, we use sic. –RpehTCE 01:35, 10 March 2009 (EDT)
