Hiya[edit]

Hiya! I noticed that you've been editing around here for a while, and thought I'd suggest creating an account. It's free, simple, fast, and convenient. It will benefit you in that you won't suffer from the caching issue the wiki has for unregistered users (that is, you will always see the most recent version of the page), and it will allow your edits to be associated with you, instead of a number. If you're unsure of how to create an account, follow this link. Either way, thanks for your contributions around the site, and I hope you continue editing, anonymous or otherwise. :) — ABCface 13:22, 2 September 2013 (GMT)

Show Preview[edit]

Hello and welcome to UESPWiki! Thanks for your interest in the wiki; however, you seem to have been making multiple edits to a page by not using the show preview button, clogging up the Recent Changes in the process. We appreciate your enthusiasm, but keep in mind that each edit needs to be patrolled, so multiple consecutive edits create an unnecessary hassle on those who patrol. So please utilize this feature! You may also want to look over our style guide and Getting Started guide. Feel free to ask if you have any questions. -damon  xoxo 16:42, 28 January 2014 (GMT)

Azura[edit]

I see no reason to add your rant at gender assignment on the page as it contributes nothing and confuses everything. I am only replying in the hopes you don't try to waste your time on this non-issue elsewhere.

Games use a limited number of base models to keep coding to a minimum, and in that there are two base models for people, male and female. In the game Azura has been assigned a male body, that is it, any other reason is made up. As for the the term Prince, that is entirely backed up in lore through all the games, it is gender-neutral in the Elder Scrolls usage. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 18:52, 21 May 2014 (GMT)

False positive[edit]

The word filtered for was "gay", not "sex" as it is often used in common vandalism, such as "lol this site is so gay". Once you attempt to edit, you get the warning, which discourages common vandals. You may attempt the edit a second time and it will be posted successfully; most vandals don't try this step.

After reading the post in question, 1. trans is an adjective, not a noun, and 2. people identifying as male use he/him pronouns, so please respectfully refer to male-identified people as such. It would divert unrelated arguments better to simply say "Azura is marked male but speaks as a female". Daedra tend to be genderfluid though, and they are collectively referred to as princes, and Azura may be referred to as a prince in some literature, hence the use of "prince" instead of "princess". It's a mix of game markers and common use.

I will not return to comment on this again, but there is some quick info. Vely►t►e 18:55, 21 May 2014 (GMT)
