Who am I?[edit]

Hello, my name is LokaCola. Well, my real name is Petter, but hopefully you know what I mean. Anyways, I'm a guy from Sweden, and I live pretty close to Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. I've played games since 2000, when my family got a PS2 and a game called Disney's Dinosaur. I did play some "play and learn" type of games before that, but it was at the first moment that I played Dinosaur that I became a gamer. Regarding The Elder Scrolls, I rememember hearing that name in 2007, but didn't really know what it was all about. In early 2008, I got my first Elder Scrolls game, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. At that time, I mostly played shooter games like Killzone, Rainbow Six, Battlefield and Call of Duty, and I felt like I needed something else, something fresh, something new. Several people both IRL and on the internet suggested Oblivion for me, and the only thing I knew about the game was "be who you want and do what you want". So I got the game, and after an hour with the game I wasn't that impressed. The starting dungeon wasn't really fun, and I felt like I had wasted my money. But then I came out of the sewers, and I froze. Never before had I seen something as beautiful in any video game, as the landscape of Cyrodiil. To this date, it's one of my most played games and one of the greatest games I've ever played. In 2011, on the 11th of November, I remember putting in the disc of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim in my PS3 for the first time, and I was so excited about the game that I was afraid that I would be disappointed. But fortunatley, the game not only delivered my expectaions, it also had a lot of surprises in stock for me.

I've been visiting the UESP wiki since... probably somewhere in 2008, possibly in 2009, and I must admit it's one of the most useful pages that I visit on the internet. There's just a ton of information about the games and about the lore. While I might not be someone that can contribute a ton of information or several fancy screenshot, I hope I'll be able to contribute with correcting grammar mistakes and such. But who knows what the future has in stock.
