My Information[edit]

Username: drgn2580 (obviously)

Residence: Beijing, China OR Singapore, Singapore

Games Played: Skyrim

I'm just a regular user simply here to eliminate any unnecessary information (spams and the like) and add any occurring bugs and side notes. Like many other users, I'm just here to help. I've been playing and modding a lot in Skyrim and thoroughly looking into lore articles in Nirn's history. I also enjoy taking a lot of screenshots and making them into a slideshow for my desktop background (Windows 7).

I am generally very enthusiastic in the many awesome, funny, epic and/or fail combats on several Skyrim videos I've seen online and on friends' computers, and I have to admit, all this makes Skyrim the best game I have ever played (even above Call of Duty or Supreme Leader 2020). In fact, I have only started playing Skyrim a year ago (on PS3), and now I know so much about Nirn lore and the like; methods, strategies, bugs and glitches, enchanting exploits, Argonians not being able to disarm the weapons of their does with a shield, having your spouse repeating the same dialogues, arrows in the knee, stolen sweetrolls, interrupting Roggvir's execution, having your follower fire ice storm at guards, get annoyed by Arniel's secret experiment(s), falling off the throat of the world, punch the Greybeards, realising that Delphine is essential when you start the game, getting a note from a Forsworn Briarheart about pickpocketing their briarhearts, jumping off cliffs while riding a horse, accidentally hitting a stormcloak soldier on mounted combat during the Battle of Fort Neugard, sneak attack Rolff Stone-Fist and also realising he is essential, fall, not being able to find Karliah, modding non-marriageable people, tcl, tgm, setav <skill>, etc.

Combating Tips (both Life-Saving and Ridiculous)[edit]

This section is simply for those who are new to Skyrim. In other words, I'm just filling in this page for the sake of adding more information.

For a Warrior:

  • Attempt to block or dodge an incoming power attack so the enemy misses, and leaving one the opportunity to strike back. This method is slightly better than power-attacking an enemy already power-attacking.
  • Focus more on the conjurer/summoner/necromancer, you have to assume they are more vulnerable than their summoned atronachs, thralls and minions.
  • Enchant weapons with absorb stamina, at least the continuity of power-attacking will still exist.
  • Mastering both Two-Handed and Restoration is an excellent combination for wasting one's time in battle especially on any console.
  • It is essential to decide whether one should spend on the Warmaster/Paralysing Strike perks over adding an enchantment that allows to paralyse targets.
  • Don't assume a warrior is superior to all mages.
  • Do not charge near a cliff or an edge.
  • Bashing with a shield or weapon is an obvious crime.
  • It is preferable to master enchanting or alchemy on par with smithing, great ideas can spring from these two skill trees.
  • A patient warrior should readily spend on the Archery perk tree, while barbarian like characters should spend on perks that deal with close combat situations like Heavy Armour and Block.
  • Sweep is a fantastic perk to have if great care is taken.
  • A good follower to have will be a mage that mainly casts fire oriented spells.
  • Which is the better weapon? The Sword, or the Mace? For certain it is what the player feels most comfortable with.
  • If the words 'Heavy' and 'Light' numerically have little difference, the player's psychological instinct or preference should be considered.
  • A dagger can still afford to win many battles.
