Me[edit]

I'm a white male from Texas, sarcastic, cynical, joking, and at the same time a serious writer. I am addicted to soccer, Oblivion, nature, and books.

The Name[edit]

I love Colovia. It's definitely one of my favorite regions in all of Cyrodiil. It is both mountainous and woody, two elements of nature that I love most. Trekking through Colovia is an amazing experience. There is an air of magic and ancient nobleness that hits me in a deep spot. My favorite site in the game and the current holder of my little blue marker is a strange wayshrine (unusable) submerged in a clear pool of water far up in the mountains, forests to the north and west. It has no marker, and being there gives you a sense of reverence and mysticysm few other areas can command.

My Oblivion History[edit]

I fell in love with Oblivion a year or so before I got it.I heard about it on a comment on a site for a different game, I can't remember which, and checked it out on Wikipedia. The concept, story-line, and gameplay all had my interest piqued, and I looked it up on sites and the like, becoming completely hooked without ever playing. For reasons I won't bore you with (crappy computer, little money, no Xbox being a few), I didn't get it until about a year later. Till then, instead of playing games and watching TV, I would get on fansites and read about it. This site was soon presented to me and my interest in the game increased tenfold. I was finally able to scrape up money and convince my parents to get me an Xbox (my computer still sucked) and Oblivion. But alas, there was a major caveat. I got it the night before school started after summer. My parents would not let me stay up past 10 on that night so I would be fresh for school (rargh), and I had to endure a whole day until I could play it for the first time. Phew.

Why I Love Oblivion[edit]

Oblivion's appeal, in my mind, was at first the medieval adventure and fighting and sorcery. But the stories and atmosphere and life and uniqueness of Oblivion are constantly taking my breath away. It's those little things you'd never expect, those encounters in rainy woods that seem so real, those amazing views over the Colovian wilderness, those strange and mysterious dungeons, those exciting and epic fights; all this makes Oblivion what it is.

On the Wiki[edit]

I don't make alot of contributions, but I'll fix grammar and such whenever I come across it. I also enjoy asking questions and learning about arbitrary glitches and anomalies, because it's that unpredictability that gets me.

Projects[edit]

My little goals and the things I'm currently working on. Also, my completed projects. Sad, right?

Completed[edit]

  • Making pages for all shops in cities, starting with Anvil and going alphabetically. Done! What now, Cyrodiil?

In Progress[edit]

  • Stub Genocide: I'm going to vanquish all of the Oblivion Stubs. Then, I'll go to Shivering. Anyone who wants to help, contact me on my talk page.
