(Fighter-type Roleplaying)

Description: You're a mercenary! A hired sword, a warrior who choses his/her master, a... well you get the point.

Getting Started: As a mercenary, you're job is to kill whatever your client wants you to kill, this includes ogres, trolls, bandits, necromancers and Talos knows what. Once the tutorial is finished, first thing you do is get yourself some decent equipment! Before you start hiring out your sword, make sure you have both experience and reputetion, your potential clients don't want riff-raff they want battle hardened elite! The Arena and the fighter's guild are excellent ways to earn fame, money and respect! Once you've completed the arena questline and almost completed the Fighter's guild (I'll explain later why you shouln't complete it), once you've already bocome a feared and famous warrior it's about time to get to work! First thing you should with new careér is to get yourself a base, where you can store all your equipment and other stuff. This should be something grand, so your clients understand that your a real professional. This base could be Rosethorn Hall, Arborwatch, Battlehorn Castle or a smaller fort that you just recently cleared out! Once you've done that, you should start looking for recruits to join your mercenary army! Examples are Mazoga(soldier), Erthor(battlemage), Modryn Oreyn(second-in command), the Jemane brothers(guards). Once you've built your army, it's time to get to work! Ideas for missions suitable for a mercenary band are helping Narina Carvain to find the Draconian Madstone, find the tears of (whatever his name... Garr or someting) or help the Odiil family to clear out the monsters that terrorize their farm. You can also make up your on quests such as clearing out forts or protecting the area around a village from bandits and monsters. The possibilities are endless! Enjoy!
