Unsafe Storage

Can anyone directly confirm (via testing or the creation kit) whether there are any unsafe storage containers outdoors at the forge area. The page lists that the area never re-spawns but can NPC's gain access to the contents of the chest / strongbox and are all the barrels / sacks safe storage? I've read conflicting reports in various places.(Seventhsage (talk) 18:32, 25 June 2018 (UTC))

Most reports around the web claim that the outside chest and strongbox are safe, but the barrels are not. I have placed a few items in each and I will share if I have found them to be safe. Spirit-of-Talos (talk) 18:56, 6 July 2018 (UTC)

Outdoor Storage Details

On the 2nd of Heartfire amethysts were placed in each outdoor container of the Tundra Homestead, I then went to an independent location specifically Faelyn's House and waited over 30 in game days. I returned back on the 5th of Frostfall. Here is what I found out. Safe Storage is the Chest, Strongbox, 2 Sacks and 1 Large Sack. Unsafe Storage all Barrels and the 1 Small Sack. Please Note this was done after purchasing the Tundra Homestead and on the Xbox One Special Edition version. Spirit-of-Talos (talk) 12:35, 7 July 2018 (UTC)

Creation Club Item

Creation Club is handled the same as Dawnguard and goes in the Skyrim namespace. You can see that it's not base game content because of the icon in the top right corner, as well as the "Added by" section in the infobox. —Dillonn241 (talk) 22:18, 23 January 2019 (UTC)

Outdoor Storage Test

I just moved to the Tundra Homestead and wanted to make sure that all my stuff I moved there was safe. Since the "barrel topic" (fixe or not) was a bit unclear to me I included it in my quick test (on XBox, no mods):

• Changed content of Chest, Stron Box and Two barrels (right and left most).
• Went to Breezehome and slept for 32 days
• The content of all containes was unchanged

The Bug section states:

The three barrels in the smithing area are not safe for storage. This bug is fixed by version 1.6.318 ...

Which from my experience above sounds right (not tested the middle barrel and the sacks though).

The Notes section states:

The exterior barrels and single small sack are not safe for storage.
