Map Notes[edit]

WR is Whiterun and the Mill shown on map is from the Pelagia farm.

Just head up the mountain as the red line shows and its a chest under some bushes. — Unsigned comment by 90.225.70.24 (talk) at 13:40 on 27 November 2011

Bug[edit]

This treasure map disappeared from my inventory when I left the Tower of Mzark by the elevator. — Unsigned comment by 85.8.9.183 (talk) on 16 February 2012

Bugged[edit]

I couldn't find the chest and after resorting to [YouTube] I knew I was at the right place. Several comments reported the same problem, so it might be a post patch 1.2 bug. Bwilderbeast 20:21, 1 December 2011 (UTC)

Having just found it, i can safely say it is there. Xbox360 with patch 1.2. Almost 4k worth of stuff in it aswell.(Killerchronic 23:57, 6 December 2011 (UTC))
This is an inconsistent bug in Xbox 360 post past 1.2. I am right at the spot and it is missing.--Freshjuice 21:59, 9 December 2011 (UTC)
I've got the PS3 version, and the chest is missing from my game as well. I also resorted to YouTube, and I'm in the correct location. There're bushes, but no chest.
I can confirm it's a problem with 1.2 version (PC) - played and picked it up on that version. did everything right as on youtube, reloaded, etc. and still no chest showing up. Then i upgraded to 1.3 and nothing changed (altrough i haven't tried a new game to see if it's still scripted wrong in the code).(95.160.151.58 13:39, 12 December 2011 (UTC))

PS3 20 dec 2011 the chest is there.[edit]

On PS3 patch 1.3.5.0 this chest is there. 20 december 2011.

A picture maybe?[edit]

Perhaps a in game screenshot of the actual treasure would be helpful (for all the treasure maps) since word directions can get confusing and its nice to know what one is looking for. --Saelune 11:03, 13 May 2012 (UTC)

If you look at the top of the page, there's a "(map)" link that'll show you exactly where it is. Robin Hoodtalk 22:24, 30 May 2012 (UTC)

Posible missing chest fix[edit]

Seeing as I didn't have problems finding the chest, I came up with an idea for a possible fix. From what I can tell, the RefID for the chest is ff00166e. Meansing the console commands prid ff00166e and enable should logically work. Anyone care to explain to me as whhy it wouldn't? Schiffy (talk) 16:24, 30 October 2012 (GMT)

IDs starting with "ff" are generated dynamically. As far as I know, this means that they'll change from one game to the next. Robin Hoodtalk 20:31, 30 October 2012 (GMT)
Yes, dynamic Form IDs are worthless for documenting. I'm not sure why the bug happens, but one can just spawn the treasure chest the associated script is supposed to do. It does so at dunTreasMapWhiterunMarker which has ID 000f4a03. --Alfwyn (talk) 21:17, 30 October 2012 (GMT)
