Selling Firewood

Is the selling of firewood after Laid to Rest really a bug? If it's just due to a disposition increase, it was likely meant to be that way--~The wind, forsaken~ (talk) 15:20, 2 January 2013 (GMT)

NPCs who are supposed to be able to buy firewood from you for Chop Wood are in the FavorJobsChopWoodFaction. Thonnir is not part of that group (unless something changed), so if this is true it would be a bug. — ABCface^◥ 16:17, 2 January 2013 (GMT)

Stuck in a cave

Thonnir appeared to be stuck in the Movarth's Lair after I completed Laid to Rest quest. I successfully got him out via console. I wasn't sure if I should include this in the article. All you have to do is stand outside the cave, type in the console: prid 0001aa6b (Enter). Then: moveto player (Enter). Thonnir should appear next to you and then get back on his way to Morthal. Console commands are allowed for bug workarounds on normal gamespace articles, so it is fine to add this to the article in this case. I'll go ahead and add your fix now (feel free to tweak if needed).

No worries, you haven't broken policy or anything. :) For future reference, the things we don't allow on articles are links to videos, mention of mods other than the USKP (/UDGP/UHFP/UDBP), or using console commands just to "cheat" in some way. How to get Thonnir out of the cave without console commands...

Verified on PS3, but this method probably works on 360 too given what it entails, I just don't have the means to test that. So I just ran into the issue with Thonnir getting stuck in the cave after Laid to Rest. I punched him enough to get him hostile, then tried to lead him out. Apparently there are a few areas on the walk back to the entrance that Thonnir won't path through. Specifically, the mouth of the first left branch that leads to Movarth's room, and the first step-up ledge at the bottom of the first room when you enter the cave. In both cases Thonnir wouldn't chase, and instead would spin around and run back deeper into the cave to try and find another path (which, of course, there isn't). So I used Unrelenting Shout to literally launch him past these touchy spots. Once I got him chasing me up the ramp and out of the cave, he immediately reset outside and started walking back to town. — Unsigned comment by 73.82.194.77 (talk) at 00:41 on 23 June 2016 (UTC)
