Clearable[edit]

This location is in fact clearable, because its exterior is located in the Red Eagle Redoubt cell (or something, I don't know the exact name of the cell). Since Red Eagle Redoubt is clearable, it probably automatically displays a cleared flag for Sundered Towers too. A similar situation arises for Klimmek's House. I suppose we do want the information added to the page, but someone else with the CK should provided the correct name of the cell. Wolok gro-Barok 19:07, 11 April 2012 (UTC)

RedEagleRedoubtLocation - which consists of 12 named cells and a bunch of wilderness cells. It is the Location which has the Clearable flag, not the individual cells. The Sundered Towers are contained within 2 of the named cells:- RedEagleRedoubtExterior07 and RedEagleRedoubtExterior08. Screwball 14:57, 20 April 2012 (UTC)
Thank you, the information has been added to the page. Wolok gro-Barok 17:12, 24 April 2012 (UTC)
I've changed it back to clearable=no and added a note similar to Skyrim:Giant's Grove. Only Red Eagle Redoubt is truly clearable. Killing the creatures in Sundered Towers does not cause it to be cleared, and even if "cleared" shows on the map for this location, it does not count towards your total for cleared locations, because the towers themselves are not considered a separate clearable location. In particular, incorrectly tagging this location as "clearable" makes it appear in the Skyrim-Places-Clearable category, and therefore makes the total number of clearable locations artificially high. --NepheleTalk 00:33, 11 May 2012 (UTC)
All right, thanks for clarifying, Nephele. Wolok gro-Barok 12:52, 11 May 2012 (UTC)

Sundered Towers Key[edit]

I've noticed that the Sundered Towers Key is no longer on the corpse of the Forsword Briarheart. This is on a character that has never visited this location before. I realize that the door lock can be picked and you can also enter the tower from the back side, but thought it should be noted anyway. Maybe someone else would like to confirm this, because it possibly could be an issue resulting from the official 1.9 patch. I'm playing on the Xbox 360. --Blackpete (talk) 08:11, 12 June 2013 (GMT)

I have now added it to the bug section marked with a vn tag. —MortenOSlash (talk) 16:39, 15 June 2013 (GMT)
I have also just had this problem. It's the first time I have seen it in many clears. I am running with mods, however. 76.102.46.144 05:54, 22 February 2014 (GMT)
If anyone have the same findings in an unmodded game, feel free to add a confirmed tag in the article. —MortenOSlash (talk) 06:25, 23 February 2014 (GMT)
As I've just adde to page, the tower is unlocked using Red Eagle Redoubt Key. Biffa (talk) 16:17, 9 May 2014 (GMT)
Like I said in my edit summary, I think that's the key that's supposed to be there. I'm think this because there is no Sundered Towers Key. At least I think so. •WoahBro►talk 16:28, 9 May 2014 (GMT)

() Oops, that's what was confusing me, thought they were expecting Sundered Tower Key, because of this talk section. Biffa (talk) 13:06, 10 May 2014 (GMT)

Where does Red Eagle Redoubt finish and Sundered Towers begin?[edit]

Hi trying to complete the place page details for this place, however I've always taken it that everything except the two linked towers was Red Eagle Redoubt and only the towers themselves was Sundered Towers. However the brief details show as everything after leaving Red Eagle Ascent is Sundered Towers? This doesn't make sense to me as when leaving the Ascent when activating the door to leave shows "Open Red Eagle Redoubt. However anywhere after this door if you look at the detailed map shows everything until you have exited from the second of the twin towers (past the barred door) clearly shows you are still in Red Eagle Redoubt. So my question is are the sundered towers just part of Red eagle redoubt? or is this a naming issue? and can someone check the CK or wherever to confirm what the game classes as Sundered Towers, I'm sure it used to shows Sundered Towers on the detailed map when inside either tower as that was why I did the red eagle redoubt page up to this point. In the meantime I'll finish checking the details and then post as just the tower for Sundered towers and everything up to them as red eagle redoubt and then if it changes it will simply be a case of moving text across. I hope I've made sense and thanks. Biffa (talk) 16:14, 9 May 2014 (GMT)

Fast travel oddity[edit]

After traversing the Red Eagle Redoubt, I had a radiant quest item to turn in, so as soon as I got the Sundered towers map marker, I went back to turn the quest item in and then fast traveled back to Sundered Towers. To my surprise, I ended up on the other side of the locked door, which I never had unlocked. 98.97.62.53 03:35, 9 September 2023 (UTC) Rich Maine
