Race??[edit]

The description says she's a breton but the table on the right says Redguard, which is she in the game data..? - Selaphi (talk) 10:38, 17 October 2012 (GMT)

It's Redguard in the CK, and the image shows a Redguard too. --Alfwyn (talk) 12:53, 17 October 2012 (GMT)
I just wanted to be sure since I'm not certain skin color dictates their race. ^^ Thanks for clearing this up. Selaphi (talk) 02:47, 18 October 2012 (GMT)

Should she attack me?[edit]

Upon loading my game, I had the luck to encounter her on the road. I saw her riding on a horse and decided to follow her. When I approached her, she attacked me. Is this supposed to happen? The article kinda makes it seem she's a non-aggressive NPC. 96.238.52.167 04:36, 6 February 2013 (GMT)

Did you side with the vampires in the questline? Are you a vampire? — ABCface 15:27, 6 February 2013 (GMT)
I'm not a vampire but I did side with them. I feel silly now. I guess that's why. XD 96.238.52.167 06:45, 7 February 2013 (GMT)
Well, I'm not positive that that's why, but it is a possibility. If that is the case, the page should be updated to reflect that, because you're right- right now, the article makes it seem like she's not hostile.
For anyone with CK who can look into this, the editorID for the QUST record is "DLC1_WESC07" and the full name is Dawnguard Outrider (07 / Northlands Caches). — ABCface 06:50, 7 February 2013 (GMT)
I can confirm (from the game) that she imediately attacks when the player has sided with the vampires. — Unsigned comment by 77.162.35.137 (talk) at 05:31 on 20 July 2013‎
She is a member of DLC1HunterFaction, which is tagged as "enemy" with DLC1VampireFaction, which I would assume you would be a member of if you side with the Volkihar vampires. --Xyzzy Talk 06:11, 20 July 2013 (GMT)

When are the caches supposed to appear?[edit]

I've done the whole Dawnguard questline (sided with the DG), but the three cache locations are blank, and Saliah doesn't turn up on any of them, even after waiting for days.. WooShell (talk) 11:14, 22 November 2014 (GMT)

The caches only appear after you have encountered one or more of the 3 Dawnguard couriers and either look at or pickpocket and then look at the orders note that each courier carries. I'm not sure if just looking at the note will suffice - I've obtained 2 of the 3 notes. Lynoit's was on his body, which I found lying near some vampires near the road around Sunderstone Gorge, and I pickpocketed Saliah's note. I had a hard time finding Saliah, though it helps if you know where the caches are that she is in charge of filling. I found her once on the road between the Weynon Stones and Duskglow Crevice. I still haven't found Hakar, though judging by the caches and the surroundings displayed in his picture, he stays in Whiterun Hold. It is not necessary to pickpocket the Dawnguard Cache key from a courier, since the strongboxes are locked with an Expert lock, but it does come in handy. All the keys seem to be the same, since one key will open all the caches. Note that only the 3 caches that are mentioned in each note will spawn when you read said note; you must read the other notes for the other caches to appear. If Saliah hasn't shown up at any cache location, it is possible that she was killed while traveling between locations. She starts out with a horse, but will sometimes lose the horse in an attack. If you are on the PC, try a console command to move to her location. If you're on a console, you might try traveling the paths between cache locations, making sure to trek alternate routes, and use Detect Dead to try and find her body. I'm not sure if her body is permanent or disappears after a set amount of time. Good luck! Chocoholic (talk) 13:06, 30 November 2014 (GMT)
