Quest Bug[edit]

I managed to clear Bthalft from range with a bow without actually exploring it and getting it marked as a fast travel location. Shortly thereafter, I got the quest to kill the bandit leader - but when I went back and explored it, nothing was there and it had the cleared tag. I went to Breezehome and waited inside for thirty days, but it never respanwed a leader for me to kill. Is this a really awful glitch, or does Bthalft not reset when resting in Breezehome? The quest was from Laila Law-Giver. 99.111.84.234 21:10, 25 December 2011 (UTC)

That is very odd, as there isn't really a leader here and I don't believe this is a location on any of the bounty lists. Lord Eydvar Talk | Contribs 10:02, 18 September 2012 (GMT)
Actually, it is a possible location for the Bounty: Bandit Boss quest. — ABCface 12:03, 18 September 2012 (GMT)

Tower[edit]

Might be a good note to add that once the tower has been raised during the Lost to the Ages quest it stays raised making this a noticeable reference point for finding your bearings. Lord Eydvar Talk | Contribs 10:04, 18 September 2012 (GMT)

Dawnguard section?[edit]

Shouldn't we be more clear that there is a original-game Bthalft and a dawnguard Bthalft?

As it is now, you need to click through on the quest links to realize you need an expansion to see everything that's mentioned.

Respawning in Dawnguard[edit]

The Ruins of Bthalft as well as the Aetherium Forge are set to "Never Resets" in Dawnguard [1] [2]. GroverPlayerB (talk) 20:03, 18 March 2018 (UTC)
