Splitting[edit]

This issue will probably affect all of the five camps listed at Military Camps#Other Camps. What would be really needed at the moment is ingame evidence. What is easily gleaned from game data, is that those camps can have either an Imperial or a Stormcloak map marker, situated at the same spot of the map. Whether they are actually activated, when and if in both versions would need testing.

Splitting those articles in two might be a better idea than a combined map marker. But it depends a bit on how different the camps will look like. If the only difference will be replacing the word "Imperial Soldier" by "Stormcloak Soldier", we would have two articles with almost the same content. In the past we have merged articles with different map markers, that are connected (Skybound Watch Pass) and we haven't split places that can have different occupants (Fort Greymoor). --Alfwyn (talk) 18:27, 11 October 2012 (GMT)

Assuming that the camps appear similar to other Imperial/Stormcloak camps, they will not only have different inhabitants, but a visual difference. Unlike places with two map markers but a shared location, the two camps are distinct (albeit quite similar) locations that can't coexist. Splitting them would avoid confusion. —Legoless (talk) 18:32, 11 October 2012 (GMT)
