Is this house safe for storage?[edit]

Skeevers aren't an issue, I can slaughter them easily, but I'm curious if anyone has confirmed this place safe for storage. I tried waiting elsewhere for 30 days and the chest doesn't SEEM to reset, but I was suffering from lag at the time (PS3 player), so it may have fudged something up. Anyone care to doublecheck? I'd rather get a second opinion on the storage in there... 89.189.38.226 11:48, 28 November 2011 (UTC)

Removed Info[edit]

Removed the following info as a quick TCL shows that the map is simply showing rocks not normally visible. No passage or tunnel.

"I'm not 100% sure what the significance of this house is yet but there is a hidden passage somewhere. If you look on the map theres a whole other arean behind the fireplace. Not sure if you can get in through lunds house or thats where you come out. (Update with more information)"

More on the local map[edit]

Has anyone noticed the network of tunnels on the local map view. It seems to feed into the house some how from the back right corner of the room. I spent 15 minuets looking for a switch but no luck, also tried fire, ice and heal at wall to try to open. May be part of a quest?

Found this: "Notes - There is a cave network underneath the hut, which is in the same instance as the hut's interior, but cannot be accessed from inside." (from http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Lund%27s_Hut) — Unsigned comment by 41.151.173.129 (talk)

I play on a PC and looked a bit around while switching off collision via console (tcl). There is a bit of a mountain range behind the house, but I could find no sign of a tunnel or cave. Maybe there was something planned for the hut at some time, since it looks a bit like you could walk onto the mountain from the southwest corner of the hut. But the area outside (but still in the same cell) isn't finished, so I doubt that there is a regular way to get there. --Alfwyn 19:45, 15 January 2012 (UTC)

I don't think he was living alone (for too long).[edit]

Fairly pointless, but the article mentions him living alone with the skeevers and the poison nearby which might have explained his death. However, with the silver ring on the piled rocks outside, I'd imagine they're burial rocks and the ring was a wedding ring. --50.29.185.28 07:05, 18 August 2013 (GMT)

Speculation has little place on a wiki, the info is gone because of this reason. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 10:05, 18 August 2013 (GMT)

Bed[edit]

I can't sleep on the bed Lund is found lying on. Is this a bug? — Unsigned comment by 173.88.197.46 (talk) at 06:00 on 10 March 2019

It depends on your point of view, but I would say no. Looking in the creation kit, they used a "static" bed. Static items are usually things like tables or counter-tops that you can't interact with in any way. Most beds in the game are classed as "furniture", but a few, like this one, aren't. I'm not really sure why they used a static item for this particular bed. I guess they didn't want you sleeping in some dead guy's bed. :P Robin Hood  (talk) 09:36, 11 March 2019 (UTC)
