Underwater Chests[edit]

The other chests found underwater seem to be not locked, can someone confirm before editing, as this is misleading. The Silencer 01:42, 5 March 2012 (UTC)

I found two unlocked chests and one locked chest, not including the Icerunner chest. The two unlocked chests were in the area leading up to the final area and contained quite mundane loot. The other chest I found was directly beneath the Captain's quarters on a sunken piece of scaffolding. It was expert-level locked and had some rather good loot in it, boss level maybe? All on his lonesome[edit]

I cleared the cave a long time before doing this quest, and found to my surprise when I returned that many of the bodies were still there and no new bandits had moved in. Jaree-Ra was entirely alone and thus a very easy kill. --174.6.51.17 06:58, 8 March 2012 (UTC)

"Good" Way to Deal With This Quest[edit]

Is there any "good" way to resolve this quest, for example, once the quest has started will this give any opportunity to eliminate Jaree-Ra and Deeja without wrecking the helpless ship? Apart from getting the "reward" from Deeja is there actually any options in this quest? -- Haravikk 16:40, 8 March 2012 (UTC)

When you first meet jaree-ra you can either accept or decline, once the fire is out the ship has crashed. Once accepted you can have your revenge for being tricked. When talking to him you have an option of 'crashing ships, i should turn you in' or thereabouts but don't know if you can follow this through. See if you can and post back if that is possible.--The Silencer 03:02, 11 March 2012 (UTC)
Doesn't seem to be a way to follow it up, when you talk of turning him in he just points out that no crime has been committed, and nothing else happens. The only alternatives seem to be to ignore him, or murder him, but it's always more profitable to carry out the quest, as no important characters are killed by the crash. -- Haravikk 10:35, 12 June 2012 (UTC)

Get a redirect from "Lights Out"[edit]

When searching, the wiki software treats "out!" and "out" as different words, so a search for "lights out" without the exclamation doesn't return this article. Could we get a redirect page? Hoping someone will do this, I lack the knowledge. 67.238.190.140 15:38, 1 August 2012 (UTC)

Done. Here is the redirect page, if you wanted to check out the formatting. Thanks for mentioning it! Vely►t►e 16:10, 1 August 2012 (UTC)

Alternate Ending[edit]

I was viewing the CSlist and there was dialog that apparently stated that there was another way to solve this quest, something about having Captain Aldis fight alongside you as you cleaned out the marauders as well as other things. Should this be included in the notes section as an unfinished part of the quest? 4LordDagon! (talk) 02:14, 26 September 2012 (GMT)

Pickpocketing the note[edit]

It seems like if you pickpocket Deeja for the note and then leave the boat and then attack the marauders without talking to the Deeja the game just takes the note away from your inventory and teleports it back into Deeja's inventory. Reading the note by pickpocketing it doesn't seem to make the quest advance to the next stage either.

Leaving the conversation when getting caught[edit]

My game is heavily modded, but when Jaree-Raa goes up to me and tells me you killed my sister and whatever, instead of selecting ... I exited the conversation. Jaree-Ra then just went away back to his post, not agressive. All the marauders that were searching for me didn't find me, even though Jaree talked to me. Is this a bug in general (without mods?)/ should this be mentioned in the article?
