Male or female?

Purpose of Ring

I just keep selling it because I always discover this on my way to Septimus. Does it have some kind of miscellaneous quest? Nothing pops in my log.-Zydrate[][] 13:56, 23 November 2011 (UTC)

Not in the least. Might've been something for an unfinished miscellaneous quest but if so was not included in the release version. All 4 missing apprentices have an item with their name in their inventories but they just seem to be interesting items and nothing more. Lord Eydvar 22:06, 16 January 2012 (UTC)

Anybody have an ID for the Ring? No mention of it here, and Ilas-Tei's corpse isn't around (playing on PC) and not even enable works. ComaDivine 09:26, 22 January 2012 (UTC)

When I visited the Shrine of Talos, I found the blood stain, but Ilas-Tei's body was not there. All of the other mentioned items from the Shrines section of the Unmarked Places page were there (plus a few more). I searched/scanned the area and could not find the body.The griswolds (talk) 19:15, 17 November 2012 (GMT)

So some people have a respawning body and some have an unretrievable vanishing one? I'm on 360. Both of the characters I've gone here with have found only the blood stain, but I suppose both came vaguely close while going to Ysgramor's Tomb. Running through this in 2015 and, since his body was missing, used the player.placeatme console command and he showed up alive. I applied a manual fix for that with a leveled Mace so I would not have to steal his ring to get it. — Unsigned comment by 24.55.30.239 (talk) at 00:52 on 3 January 2016 (UTC)

Body not there

Okay so in my previous playthroughs I've never even known that this shrine was there until this recent playthrough, so I went to where Talos Shrine for the first time on this playthrough and i don't see her body there. — Unsigned comment by PrinceRetro (talk • contribs) at 04:12 on 25 June 2018 (UTC)

You have been close enough for the objects of the site to spawn on a prior visit to the area. Once the body has spawned it will disappear after some time. This is noted on the page.
