Brother[edit]

Is there any verification or references to where it says that Gunnar and Lod are related? i've never heard anything of the sort. Vos 19:35, 11 June 2012 (UTC)

They seem to be marked as brothers, but I dont see any referances ingame. Well im useless at this stuff anyway so maybe someone else can find more D:? — Kimi the Elf (talk | contribs) 19:48, 11 June 2012 (UTC)

Lisbet's Husband?[edit]

So Lisbet of Markarth had a husband named "Gunnar", though he died. I don't think she ever specifies how recently though, and this Gunnar does die at the beginning of the game - before you have a chance to meet Lisbet. It's possible they're meant to be the same person, though more likely a coincidence, I'll admit. Lisbet's Gunnar was a shop-owner, not a miner. Though there's also the indication that Gunnar had a brother. Gunnar is the son of Arnlief, for whom the store is named, but it's "Arnleif and Sons", indicating that there is at least one other son of Arnlief, thus brother of Gunnar. Gunnar Stone-Eye also has a brother in Lod (at least according to the CK), though he's still alive and also not working at a store in Markarth. Are there any other clues given about any of these people that I'm missing? Or is it just another coincidence of naming? The fact that none of these people are in the same cities (or even the same Holds) tends to point to the latter option, but you never know... — TheRealLurlock (talk) 22:47, 28 February 2013 (GMT)

Doesnt he die in helgen? She said her husband was killed by the forsworn. — Kimi the Elf (talk | contribs) 23:10, 28 February 2013 (GMT)
True, but she's also a cannibal, so how reliable is her word? Anyhow, as I said it's probably a coincidence, just curious if there were more clues out there that I missed. (Also, we don't know that he died at Helgen. We just know that's the last place we see him alive. He might have survived the attack only to be killed by Forsworn on the trip back to Markarth. Again, unlikely, but it could happen...) — TheRealLurlock (talk) 23:26, 28 February 2013 (GMT)
Looking in the CK the dialogue is "My husband, Gunnar, died about five years ago. Forsworn attack. I miss that stubborn oaf." Even if she was lying it seems strange to lie about when it happened. — Kimi the Elf (talk | contribs) 23:34, 28 February 2013 (GMT)
I doubt Lisbet's husband was actually killed by Forsworn though. This is what she says during The Taste of Death: "One of my customers? Did you know I inherited the store from my late husband? Shame what happened to him. He had such good taste." Yeah, I bet he was delicious. Elakyn (talk) 12:44, 1 March 2013 (GMT)
