Entering Warehouse[edit]

Does anyone know how to enter the warehouse without having the key? Can I pickpocket someone besides the guy im following? — Unsigned comment by 86.173.250.123 (talk) at 18:04 on 2 January 2012

There's this new invention called a "lockpick"... ThuumofReason 18:12, 2 January 2012 (UTC)
Better late than never, but the information is now on the page. Gulum-Ei is the one you want. Robin Hoodtalk 08:24, 13 April 2012 (UTC)

Easy Money[edit]

After the quest (muscle the informant) you can just walk in, the guard will tell you your breaking the law but he wont stop you, and if you kill everyone inside they dont respawn so returning to steal more stuff that does respawn is really easy, its a easy way to make a few hundred gold.(Clearupright 18:35, 13 February 2012 (UTC))

Noble Robes?[edit]

Why are the skill books, the goat and other useless stuff mentioned and not the rare and obscure "Noble Robes" which can't be obtained anywhere else? I've never actually done the mission so I won't add it in case I'm missing something but it's clearly the most notable feature of the location. 173.73.159.61 15:10, 4 January 2013 (GMT)

Okay, I've added them to the notes. Robin Hood  (talk) 20:27, 4 January 2013 (GMT)
Where are these noble robes located in the warehouse? Kellynne (talk) 15:06, 17 July 2014 (GMT)
Okay, I'm just looking in the Creation Kit here, but if you go inside the warehouse and find the ship, you should see some shelves kind of in a corner right off the edge of the boat. There's a torch right there, so it's not like hiding in the shadows or anything. You should find the noble clothes there. Hope that helps! eshetalk 15:18, 17 July 2014 (GMT)
Great, thanks. Got 'em. Kellynne (talk) 02:12, 6 August 2014 (GMT)

Goat in the Warehouse[edit]

The article says "for no reason", but game-wise, there is a reason. The goat is very likely to bump into you when you're trailing Golum-Ei during the TG quest line, and if a guard is nearby (and one frequently is), this breaks stealth. Had this happen to me, it instantly devolved into a running battle with the guards, a hideously large bounty for killing them, and a quick restart from the previous save. =P So... Yeah, the goat is there for a reason, it makes sneaking around in there harder. 67.0.88.77 21:18, 24 July 2013 (GMT)

Inventory[edit]

Out of curiosity, I wandered into the Warehouse before starting 'Scoundrel's Folly' and dumped all of my gear into an empty container. I then turned off Detection globally (so the guards inside wouldn't see me), then grabbed everything that wasn't nailed down. To keep everything as accurate as possible, I didn't loot any items from any containers, since those are often randomly generated; instead, I stuck with stuff that is placed. I got:

  • 1 Iron Dagger
  • 3 Iron Greatsword
  • 7 Iron Sword
  • 3 Iron Warhammer
  • 1 Woodcutter's Axe
  • 1 College Boots
  • 2 Fur-Lined Boots
  • 1 Gold Diamond Ring
  • 1 Gold Ring
  • 4 Hat
  • 6 Iron Armor
  • 4 Iron Boots
  • 5 Iron Helmet
  • 1 Mage Robes
  • 2 Merchant Boots
  • 2 Merchant's Clothes
  • 2 Noble Clothes (it's worth noting that, despite saying 'Noble Clothes', these look like the clothes warn by the Jarls)
  • 1 Silver Amethyst Ring
  • 1 Silver Ring
  • 2 Potion of Health
  • 4 Potion of Minor Healing
  • 1 Potion of Strength
  • 1 Skooma
  • 10 Alto Wine
  • 1 Bread
  • 8 Cabbage
  • 15 Eidar Cheese Wheel (there are actually an additional 8 of these, but I can't figure out how to get them without using the TCL console command)
  • 10 Goat Cheese Wheel
  • 16 Gourd
  • 3 Horker Meat
  • 2 Nord Mead
  • 1 Pheasant Breast
  • 24 Potato
  • 2 Sliced Goat Cheese
  • 9 Wine
  • 6 Elves Ear
  • 2 Frost Mirriam
  • 9 Garlic
  • 16 Troll Fat
  • 1 A Children's Annuad
  • 1 A Kiss, Sweet Mother
  • 1 Antecedents of Dwemer Law
  • 1 Brief History of the Empire, v4
  • 1 Heavy Armor Forging
  • 1 Mysterious Akavir
  • 1 Ruins of Kemel-ze
  • 1 The Amulet of Kings
  • 1 The Buying Game
  • 1 The Real Barenziah, v1
  • 1 The Real Barenziah, v3
  • 1 The Talos Mistake
  • 2 The Wolf Queen, v2
  • 15 Baskets (various types)
  • 1 Bear Pelt
  • 5 Broom
  • 12 Bucket
  • 1 Cave Bear Pelt
  • 1 Cow Hide
  • 4 Drum
  • 1 Empty Skooma Bottle
  • 2 Empty Wine Bottle (various types)
  • 5 Flute
  • 19 Gold
  • 4 Hammer
  • 1 Horse Hide
  • 2 Ice Wolf Pelt
  • 20 Iron Ingot
  • 4 Lute
  • 1 Pitchfork
  • 24 Ruined Book (various types)
  • 2 Sabre Cat Pelt
  • 2 Sabre Cat Snow Pelt
  • 3 Saw
  • 4 Shovel
  • 1 Silver Ingot
  • 21 Tankard
  • 2 Wolf Pelt
  • 3 Wooden Bowl
  • 4 Wooden Plate

Anything that says 'Various types' had separate listings for items with the same name; I just grouped them together. Also, I tried breaking up the list using the 'br' in angle brackets, but when previewed, it didn't do anything; there was no space between sections of the list. I apologize for that.

Anyway, there probably isn't much interest in this, but I thought I'd throw it out there just in case there is. Right now, there's just a vague mention that you can get a lot of stuff there, but nothing mentioning what that stuff actually is. It doesn't give anyone reading the page any idea if there's any point to stopping by. Swk3000 (talk) 19:50, 7 September 2013 (GMT)

Oh, and I almost forgot: three of the books I picked up were Skill Books, so the books are there even before Scoundrel's Folly. Swk3000 (talk) 20:11, 7 September 2013 (GMT)

Getting Permission to Enter[edit]

Entering the Warehouse is trespassing, and a trespass count is added to your crime statistics the moment you enter, regardless of whether you are detected. However I have discovered a way to get permission to enter after the first trespass. When the thieves guild quest here is not active, the Nord dockworker is a valid target for the "Can I have that armor?" world interaction. This is the only way to raise disposition with NPCs that do not have a favor quest. If you sneak over to him and then quickly trigger this, you will befriend him and get permission to be there (and take low value loot) before a trespass bounty is incurred. The problem is I can't figure out if there's a way to trigger this interaction more than once per game, so you may have to choose one of many potential targets. The only NPC in the appropriate faction who ever leaves the warehouse is Golum-Ei, who does not have a favor quest or the ability to participate in this world interaction, so I don't think the one trespass is avoidable. --Olaus (talk) 23:34, 20 January 2023 (UTC)
