Merge[edit]

I disagree with the suggestion to merge. They have the same properties and appearance, but different name and ID. Though, I'm not very committed to that opinion if people disagree with me. --Theothersteve7 19:09, 24 February 2012 (UTC)

Looks like we merged Fine-Cut Void Salts with Void Salts, so I guess we do have a precedent to merge. I rescind my opinion. --Theothersteve7 19:17, 24 February 2012 (UTC)
(edit conflict) I'm not sure either way. On the one hand, Fine-Cut Void Salts are just a variation of regular Void salts, except with a different name. However, Berit's Ashes have a different name, ID, and location, making it a different item. Is this enough to justify it's own article? I don't know. Don't forget, the little information here will be developed and improved over time by the editors of this site, after we've finished working on the more important stuff. I don't think the articles should be merged, the two are different enough for their own respective articles. --Alfwyn (talk) 20:18, 25 September 2012 (GMT)
Oppose as well, same reasons Jak gave above. — ABCface 20:23, 25 September 2012 (GMT)
If we follow Oblivion's example (see Oblivion:Vampire Dust), then the pages should be merged. However, I wouldn't necessarily support following Oblivion's example. —Legoless (talk) 16:47, 27 September 2012 (GMT)

() Looks like there were a consensus. I oppose to merge this article too. There are other quest items that are merged, like Farengar's Frost Salts, Fine-Cut Void Salts and the Rare Salt Pile but the first two share ID with frost and void salts, and the last one -even when it has different ID- is not a quest item per se. So IMHO, this page should be keeped.

If more people agree with that, then the banner above the article should be deleted? Audrey Gally talk 22:03, 8 November 2012 (GMT)

I agree that Berit's Ashes should have it's own page. Jak brought up a valid point—it has its own ID and so on. The consensus seems to be to keep this page, and since this topic was given plenty of months to discuss, I'll be removing the merge tag. ~ Psylocke 06:29, 9 November 2012 (GMT)

New Location[edit]

Found some Berit's ashes in theVolkihar Ruins, accessed with the Dawnguard dlc. They are in Valerica's laboratory. — Unsigned comment by 82.19.49.93 (talk) at 14:53 on 29 June 2012

Confirmed, it's on the page now. ABCface 03:36, 24 July 2012 (UTC)

Berit's Ashes respawn on PC[edit]

Don't know what kind of verification will suffice, but I just tested this on PC. Went back to Dengeir's House in Falkreath and Berit's Ashes were there, on top of the wood shelves.Grey 17:25, 12 August 2012 (UTC)

I've removed the VN tag. —Legoless 17:32, 12 August 2012 (UTC)

Still in the castle study?[edit]

No way I can find it. Chance it is removed? Ible (talk) 06:10, 10 December 2012 (GMT)

Can't deliver Berit's ashes[edit]

Has anyone else been unable to deliver Berit's ashes to Runil? When i 'talk' to Runil, there isn't a speech option to hand them over. — Unsigned comment by 87.194.31.187 (talk) at 00:18 on 20 March 2013

Where are the ashes[edit]

I can't find them in Dengeir's home?Kellynne (talk) 14:42, 27 May 2014 (GMT)

Have you already delivered the ashes to Runil for the quest? The ashes don't appear until Thangeir gives them to you. --AN|L (talk) 14:52, 27 May 2014 (GMT)
Bummer. Unfortunately, Runil was killed before I was given the quest. Kellynne (talk) 15:51, 27 May 2014 (GMT)
