Race[edit]

His name sounds like a typical Imperial name and that's what I assumed he was... Anyone agree? 81.156.86.135 22:35, 22 January 2012 (UTC)

Looking through the page history, the page was created with him as an Imperial, and then it was changed at some point to say Nord by someone who may not have checked the info. He probably is Imperial, but I don't know how to check that. --Velyanthe 22:57, 22 January 2012 (UTC)
I checked and he is a Nord, kind of strange name I agree though.RIM 23:14, 22 January 2012 (UTC)
Nord dad, anyone? 22:02, 04 October 2012
Wouldn't make sense, as racial characteristics are passed on through the mother. The name does sound Imperial (or maybe Breton), so maybe it's an oversight, like with Minette Vinius. --Lady Azura (talk) 20:26, 17 February 2013 (GMT)
The child still inherits some characteristics from the father. Jeancey (talk) 20:29, 17 February 2013 (GMT)
(edit conflict) Or, maybe his mother was a Nord, and so was her mother, but her father was Imperial? That's a perfectly logical explanation that would clear up the confusion. Conjecture of course, just pointing out that it's still entirely possible for a Nord to have an Imperial name. (Heck if a Dunmer can have an Argonian name, anything's possible.) Edward Elric?[edit]

The ritual reminds me of Fullmetal Alchemist. — Unsigned comment by 67.127.59.70 (talk) on 15 March 2012

Adoption[edit]

I don't think it's right to call it a bug that Aventus Aretino can't be adopted until he moves to the orphanage because he's not a valid adoption option in Hearthfire. Arthmoor (talk) 06:46, 15 December 2012 (GMT)

I've moved it to the notes section. — ABCface 18:32, 15 December 2012 (GMT)
