This series of books first appeared in Morrowind, and the books were labelled chapters, rather than with a "V" for volume/verse like what was used in the Oblivion and Skyrim versions. The lore pages typically follow the lead of whatever version appeared first (Morrowind, in this case), so the "book footers" and what-not refer to chapters rather than volumes. That info is then transcluded to the various namespace pages like this one. Technically, as you've pointed out, it creates a small discrepancy. While we could fix this, it's a surprisingly large job because many different books have this same issue, and we've got more important things to do. To use one of my favorite old internet memes, our care cups are empty. Minor Edits 20:55, 27 December 2011 (UTC)
Actually, the anon has a point here. They're programmed to use "v" or "Chapter" appropriately for the links, just not for the text. I'll fix them. Robin Hoodtalk 03:21, 9 January 2012 (UTC)
